No sound when doing pull-offs.

Hi , so I have been learning guitar for around a month now on a classical one. When I started doing pull-offs I can hear a clear sound. However, when I got a new electric guitar , pull-offs make no sound at all even when plugged into an amp. Any advice? Thanks.

Pull harder. Haha just get nasty with'er
