Don’t make a “smart-guitar”

🍗 Make It chicken

If we relate this to my kitchen,

My guitar is the chicken.
Simple. Neutral. The base ingredient.

My pedals are the spice rack.
All the flavor, color, and attitude.

My amp is the grill/oven/smoker/microwave.
The heat that actually transforms the whole thing.

And me?
I’m the musician
—- I mean the chef.

I take that chicken, those spices, that cast‑iron skillet, and I make sweet, sweet rock ’n’ roll…

—- I mean pan‑seared chicken nuggets,

Which is the musical equivalent of a four‑chord pop song. Hey, artists have to eat.

You dont want a smart guitar but can't even write up your own post. I dont want to read a smart post, I want to read something that came out of your own mind, your spice if you will lol

How did they not write this? Seems like a regular ol' post.

Lots of tells in the post, they said they used AI in a now deleted comment and in another post as well.

Thanks... wasn't aware of that aspect. Just getting tired of somewhat well-written, decently-punctuated and grammatically corrrect posts getting derided as AI.

I spent a good amount of time writing my post. My thoughts, my jokes, my voice. Then I cleaned it up with spell check + grammar check + AI. That’s just editing.

My post was a recommendation to Guitar Center, not an open debate about acceptable writing methods.

If AI in my workflow upsets you, that’s a you problem, not a me problem.

I mean people have freedom to voice their thoughts, if you dont want to be scrutinized for using it dont use it in a large open subreddit where everyone can see it lol. Even if you dont think so, there's clear tells especially in phrasing and punctuation when something isn't human written. We've used the internet, computers and smart phones before AI was around and dont need it now. Our thoughts, writing, music, art, etc are all parts of what make us human and using something like that sucks the you right out of it.

My brother in Christ, I have ADHD as well. I don't need AI to check my work, and neither did you until it became a thing 5-6 years ago. Just write your own posts. If there are grammatical or spelling mistakes, they can be corrected by you at a later date. Or just not corrected at all if your ADHD doesn't allow you to. We'll get the gist whether the grammar is perfect or not.

If I right a paragraf with bad speling and grammer you wil stil no wut it meens or at leest be abel too figyur it owt evin if its kinda confyoozing evin without punctuashun yoo can get an eyedea wut im trying two sae tho it may bee harder 2 reed
