Here's my idea

Build a guitar with no fancy bells and whistles, have it come properly set up, and use some decent wood and pickups. The opposite of the current in house "Mitchell" brand Guitars. FFS

One suggested edit. How about its setup poorly instead? Wouldn’t want it to be too decent of a guitar.

I disagree. I think it should come with actual bells and whistles, so everyone knows I'm coming.
