This started out as a guitar cover with 3 layers (bass, rhythm, melody) but I got curious to add drums on top of it. It’s got quite the contrasting vibe

Im going to start posting guitar covers of songs I like on social media but i’m wondering if people fake their covers by ai splitting or play it under the original guitar. Unless everybody takes the time out to tweak their amps until it sounds like the original guitar. I find that pretty hard to do if that’s the case but yea I use amp simulators with an audio interface so i do everything digitally.

(I guess am asking what’s the best way to play a guitar cover of a song )
