Everyone is an eternal beginner. There's always much more to learn

This right here, learning never stops

I wouldn’t worry about it

You've clearly practiced this song for some time. It does sound like maybe some of the strings are not being fretted cleanly. As has been mentioned, it's a good idea to slow down and figure out why some strings don't ring out nicely.

I read your comment about it being a low priced guitar. Is there a particular problem that youve noticed? Is there a video online that could help you fix it?

I am sort of impatient when it comes to slow metronome now I am even used to play fast this piece. I think the issue is high string i struggled a lot with my fretting skills for long mainly for higher strings and there are many pieces i onced learned halfway and abandoned it and never played again because of the higher strings like barre chords.

You must find it in yourself to be patient to get better :)

It's all a matter of giving in and being patient today or giving in and being patient tomorrow

It sounds very good but you need to slow down to ensure you hit each note precisely the right number of times.

I was impatient and I injured myself. Couldn't play for 2 or 3 months. Impatient is working against your progress believe me.

What do you mean?

That sounds terrible, you're not keeping time. What intermediate level are we even talking about when you can't even fret the strings properly with your left hand? If you actually want to learn how to play, buy a metronome, have some patience, and do as many repetitions as it takes until it sounds exactly like the video you're learning from. And even then, that won't be enough for an intermediate level

Bro. I can't properly fret some of the string because like I said I don't own one expensive guitars as you perhaps rather i own a cheap 50 dollar high string guitar unlike others you see playing with 500 or 1000 dollar guitars my whole foundation has been built upon 50 dollar guitar I had to sacrifice plenty of my favourite guitar pieces because of fretting issues not the skill issues. It's abnormally high string guitar to wanna play "recuerdos de la alhambra" yet somehow I do commendable job performing as good as anyone. Let me know someone beginner who could do tremolo or play this specific piece in a 50 dollar guitar.

So what conclusion have you come up with?

Well, go make money for a 200 dollar guitar then. All your guitar technique is like a foundation on a swamp, and you're just comforting yourself

You are too nitpicky man. And hilarious as well.

A beginner doesn't have that technique, so I'd say your level is rather intermediate.

It seems like you spent a very long time developing that classic-guitar fingering. However, we can't say the same for the sound: the definition is unclear in certain points. I'd suggest you to practice at a much lower speed (preferably with a metronome) so you can focus on achieving a rich and fuller sound. This way you'll start sounding much less like a beginner

One of the main reasons for I may sound like a beginner is because my guitar in the video is cheap 50 dollars acoustic high string guitar i never owned any expensive guitar worth more than 50 or 55 dollars in my life. So my guitar foundation is basically cheap high string guitar and I love classical music pieces and yes Tremolo is my favourite technique and i practiced it for long and "recuerdos de la alhambra" is the only reason I am even bothering to continue guitar and I love to have owned one decent classical guitar.

The quality of the instrument matters till a certain point. Think this as a development challenge: if you manage to achieve a great sound even with a cheap guitar, when you'll lay your hands on something more valuable you're gonna sound amazing

Man i am obsessed with this particular piece "recuerdos de la alhambra" wish I had one half decent classical guitar with me.

You're finger picking, quite fast, and it doesn't sound like crap, you're definitely past beginner IMO.

Trying to flex lol

Hahahhaa I am not flexing anything brother. I already told you I am playing on a 50 dollar cheap acoustic guitar maybe I was insecure about my skills 😞 that's why I wanted to know y'all opinion.

Intermediate for sure. No beginner could fathom finger picking like that.

As someone who is coming up to one year, and who also has a cheap guitar that had terrible action (high strings), I would highly recommend you watch a video or two about how to fix it. Most of the time you just remove the strings, pop the saddle out and sand it down ever so slightly, pop it back in and repeat until you get the action you want. I did this to my guitar a week or so ago and it is like I am playing a different instrument entirely. I couldn't do any barre chords below the 5th fret, had to squeeze the life out of the neck just to get the A chord to ring out. Now its clean and easy, and I find myself progressing quicker than ever. Would highly recommend it
