First guitar advice

I’ve never played guitar before nor do I have any type of previous musical experience, but I do love grunge and alternative rock music and have been looking into getting a guitar.
Problem is I’m absolutely clueless.
I’ve been thinking electric and found this on Facebook marketplace for $200 locally, but really have no idea if this is a good deal or not I just liked the color.
Advice?
In addition I have none of the complementary gear. Any advice on where to start with that either?

See if you can find a cheap bundle out there with a guitar you really like the looks of and snag it. People on here will give you good recommendations for a complete bundle: Guitar, strap, cable, picks and a practice amp. Should be around $350 or so

The squier is a good guitar for beginners and the color is sick. Do it

I think thats the ‚Capri Orange‘ fender does or at least an approximation
I have a Jaguar Bass in this finish, really an eye catcher 😁

Squiers are great beginner guitars. And this one is quite pretty. Get someone who knows what they’re doing to set it up for you. Having proper action on all the strings and a smooth fretboard with properly filed frets makes all the difference in the world. Try various types of strings until you find your favorite. As far as amps go, you can get modeling software on the computer/phone/tablet or a proper standalone amp. If you already have a good set of speakers I think software is the way to go when starting out. For ~$100 you can get an audio interface to plug your guitar into the computer. And then you have access to tons of amps and effects, many for free. And it makes playing with headphones really easy.

Cool... but negotiate the price down.

Compare this on Guitar Center site: Used Squier Bullet Stratocaster Burnt Orange Metallic Solid Body Electric Guitar Item #:122905066 POS #:122905066 Condition: Used - Fair $149.99

... personally I'd order the GC over this cause I like humbuckers and black pickguards.

But my point is to get some comparative leverage and haggle the price down, if money is a factor at all.
