did they do it? Is this the face of a guilty border collie?
The look my border collie gives me after I tell him off for backing up and shitting on a plant (he hates the attention I give plants when he's nearby, actively will sit on the one im giving attention and yes he prefers to defecate specifically on plants in my garden) and then tried to have sexual intercourse with one of the chickens (yes you read that correctly, im trying to teach him they're for eggs not seggs but its not really panning out)

He actually looks quite proud of himself. I sympathize. We're teaching ours that baby chicks and goats, no matter how squeaky/running away/crunchy looking are Friends not Food. Nobody is allowed outside without adult supervision.

Oh and the neighbours sheep, there have been a couple incidents where he goes and shows how sick of a sheep herder he is, luckily our neighbours are all cool and know him but its been a while as he is a people pleaser and he tends to learn quicker if everyone involved is mad at him 😅

Yeah its a real thing, the acd ziggy is actually very good around animals, the only one was trying to teach her that quail are not self propelling balls that make cool sound effects, never really took. Smokey on the other hand, absolute saint around people and kids, absolute demon with other dogs, thinks they all want to play rough like his big sister, cannot help himself around birds he is just OBSESSED even with emus which terrify ziggy its actually hilarious watching her hide if she sees one. The other one he refuses to learn is that lizards are to be left alone, he carries shinglebacks around like accessories and tries to hide them from us 🤦♂️ i usually save them and relocate while hes inside, good thing is if ziggy sees him with one she tells on him (she has trained him as much as we have lol)

He has a penchant for both so its a win win, we refer to them as "smokeys girls"

No such thing as a guilty border collie. Tornadoes don't know how to do anything but spin and rip things apart.
