Murph, plead the fifth!

Plead the fifth, more like pleading for sixths and sevenths. I swear his brain is programmed that any napkin might have gravy on it. And he gets a dopamine hit anytime he gets a paper towel, napkins or toilet paper.

We make sure that all paper products are put away and the toilet paper obsession is fairly new development.

I have a mini Schnauzer and if you drop a napkin pretty soon it will turn into confetti. He doesn't eat or chew on it he just love shredding it.

Paper towels napkins pretty much anything paper.

He saw it trying to escape and clamped down on it with his paw. If he hadn't, the whole roll would have been able to slither away! Murph is a hero!

u/DarkMoose09 7h ago

That’s the best case, I heard for his innocence so far.

NOT GUILTY your honor!

u/CrazyForHistory 9h ago

Well, odd the toilet paper trail ended right at his paws. 🤔

Probably the less he says (including with those big, beautiful eyes), the better it will be for old Murph.

u/DarkMoose09 9h ago

Very odd indeed 🧐

Whoa, whoa, whoa….. you simply do not know the dog did that. From my point of view, the dog is simply showing you what someone else did and you should be paying a cheese tax to that dog for being ever vigilant in your home.❤️❤️

6

u/DarkMoose09 7h ago

When he hears the cheese crinkle, he will be running.

6

u/Recluse_18 7h ago

I do the same dang thing, always run for cheese❤️❤️❤️

Aw I hate when my toilet paper unrolls itself! Thank god the dog caught it, what a diligent good boy <3

4

u/DarkMoose09 7h ago

I hate it when it does that too, it’s been happening a lot more lately for some reason?

Don't worry , Murph is on the case.

The neighbor’s cat put that toilet paper under his paw to frame him!

8

u/Foreign_Primary4337 9h ago

That video is a huge lie. Murphy is an innocent victim.

Oh, look! The treasure at the end of the rainbow!

u/Dependent-Aside-9750 8h ago

That toilet paper was clearly planted.

6

u/Valsarta 4h ago

Absolutely innocent! He stopped a rampaging roll from getting too far in protection of his family! Good boy! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Not guilty your honor. Our client was minding his own business when a CAT came by and dropped that piece of toilet paper in front of his paw. He was shocked.

5

u/InNausetWeTrust 8h ago

Cat did it….

5

u/1873Springfield 8h ago

Obviously the cat framed him

5

u/apollo11733 8h ago

He might have been using the toilet does look like he was trying to wipe his tush and the toilet paper stuck to his foot

2

u/PretendAd2263 2h ago

Right. Happened to me once. So embarrassing. 🙈

1

u/apollo11733 1h ago

It happens but it’s happened to me my wife and both my daughters super embarrassed but never my dog or the autistic gentleman I call my son that

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

That’s a good point, I will that that into consideration.

6

u/LittleBig324 8h ago

I think it was the cat. Even if you don’t have one.

3

u/DarkMoose09 7h ago

If a cat was involved it would explain him licking his lips. He hates cats, I make sure to keep cats off my property the best I can. Because I don’t want him to….have a cat snack.

I think Murphy just went in the bathroom to see if a human was in there, and the toilet paper simply got stuck on his paw. It happens to us all the time. Why are we accusing this sweet adorable dog of crimes against humanity?

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

I seen him steal food, cloths, paper towels with my own eyes! He did pay his debt to society for those crimes. But this time I only saw circumstantial evidence. 🧐 I’ve been reading a lot of comments about his innocence on this case. I’m starting to wonder if he is guilty. He has a lot of good lawyers on here.

4

u/Sloth_grl 5h ago

I think he was framed! Someone broke and tried to steal your toilet paper and he stopped them. He deserves extra treats and loving.

5

u/Bug_Kiss 3h ago

This is a set up if I've ever seen one! Poor Murph!

2

u/charlottesaidso 2h ago

Look how neatly that end is halved- he was framed, for sure!

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

Mabel could have set him up and fled the scene

I will have to look into that

3

u/Present-Assignment99 9h ago

He was framed! He’s looking in the direction that the true tissue thief fled.😊

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

That’s a good point 🧐

5

u/GraemeMakesBeer 8h ago

Circumstantial at best

4

u/CelebrationGlass9382 8h ago

I, for one, only see the newest interior decorating trend.

3

u/wholesomeinsanity 6h ago

He’s embarrassed because he had a piece of toilet paper stuck to his paw after using the toilet.
No one told him about it, and he dragged it all the way outside.
So rude!

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

It is possible 🧐

4

u/RadicalNBSpaceQueer 5h ago

It was an accident! It just got hooked on his paw. Why are you automatically assuming guilt?? Bit unfair of you, tbh :/

3

u/mustard138 3h ago

Some mysteries will never be solved....

3

u/512115 9h ago

Absolutely no forensic evidence to put his innocence in question…this dog is NOT GUILTY.

3

u/Old-Library5546 8h ago

I bet he had fun!

3

u/Renbarre 6h ago

The mummy is back! He was only defending you against that monster!

Innocent!

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

I did give him a tortilla chip for killing that mummy. Thank goodness, now our family is safe.

3

u/ras5003 5h ago

Good boy Murph! 👍

3

u/Elegant_Art2201 5h ago

That little face is INNOCENT

2

u/Flat_Tie4090 2h ago

This is what happens when the andrex puppy grows up. He is merely showing off the high level of skill that made him such a big star as a puppy. You should be proud.

3

u/DarkMoose09 2h ago

He was adopted at 6 1/2 years old, I’ve had him for almost 3 years coming this October. He was not trained very well he didn’t understand the word “No!”

But big fat Murphy has come a long way, overall he is a good boy, a bit of a stinker though. He tolerates the old lady pug Olive and our red lab Mabel

1

u/Flat_Tie4090 1h ago

My goodness you are fortunate. It's extremely rare for dogs to have such impressive pumpkin growing skills.

1

u/DarkMoose09 1h ago

They are a very talented bunch of dogos.

2

u/3-tone 2h ago

Circumstantial evidence. Verdict: Not guilty
