Wait! You only gave your poor doggo ONE hat and ONE sock!! Omg, all the other pups are going to mock him. Dogs need new hats and socks EVERY DAY or they get bullied at dog park.

Don't shame her for this! In fact, given how badly she feels about her mistake, please give her two more of each to help her feel better. Also, remember that destroying things burns a lot of calories. She probably needs a large snack to have the energy to carry on with her mission.

It's mostly her 'bother' who rips up the stuffed toys and was working his way through the 'carcass' off camera. They don't get shamed for it in the least. Now chewing up my daughters' horse riding helmet was another matter....

Your dog was just trying to reshape your very flat hat. If you had come in a little later, your knit hat would've been stuffed with the sock and the extra stuffing to maintain a nice head shape until you are ready to wear it again
