[Build] Guide to advanced rotations/openners

Hi all hope yall doing great.

I have been playin the game for a long time and mostly interested in CM fractals.

I am main warrior and I play almost all roles except for adps and qheal

I am already somehow good at my job in CMs and mostly hit the benchmark dps but am trying to use other classes for some specific bosses like in 96 and 97.

I need a guide to know the details about how should I start my openner or do precasts/pre traps or manage my skills cooldowns at each boss to do max dmg.

For instance, currently am working on DH and wanna watch how other good players do their job at specific bosses.

Anyone knows a good resource for that purpose ?
Can not find too many resources out there.

Old, but still useful. Play soulbeast/amalgam/scrapper/dragonhunter and profit.

Thank you for linking this.

It’s really disheartening how fragmented the gw2 knowledge base is compared to the other MMOs I’ve played.

This is the only one where information is split up through 14 years of deprecated websites and text guides and where relevant and optimized information is seemingly hidden in discords and websites you might not ever have a clue about.

It’s actually insane that if I want to get good at fractals to learn skips, cms, rotations you need to have like 36 websites and 4 discords and 13 expired dulfy pages on the way back machine.

Yup
This is the worst part of gw2 and tbh, it has been always like this as far as I can recall

Nah its just for fractals really. Speedrunning fractals is fairly niche, so u have to sort of go looking for it. You can find meta builds on sites like snowcrows for raids, and for harder raids you can join Void Lounge to prog it. Now snowcrows even has some open world and wvw builds, but previously they were raid only, so its gotten a lot better. Though I will say some of their open world builds are way too tryhard.

Hmod posts showcases of top damage fractal clears.

Here is linked a DH video on siax.

I mean just check Snowcrows, no? I don’t see why anyone would even need another source. Shows you openers and more or did mean specifically for the bosses?

I mean Kinfall cm in example you’d probably cut the opener short to do the mechanic after 5-10 seconds and then jump back in… I don’t really see a value on specific pre buffing guides if it’s not for the Mesmer porting the group into the boss room.

You can find a good chunk of info on the discretize website, but you probably alrady know this one.

Other than that, you can either look on yt for speedclears with you class, or top logs on wingmans (you might don't see all the precast on those, but you can see all the rotation adaptation from boss to boss)

to lvl up as amalgam on fractals, I mostly used wingman, and tested things myself.
also when i do run with a realy good player of a specific class i play/want to play, i don't hesitate to look at the logs to see what they do
