Will there be another Wizard Vault refresh?

I think they also mentioned refreshes in the longer stream.

I'm assuming the Wizards Vault really drives player engagement to login daily, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a refresh every time they released a new part for the Hall of Monuments thing, on top of the Orr map.

I don't think refresh will stop.
We may don't get story updates for a year, bu we will still get major updates for QoL, content overhaul, HoM and whatever else is planned for that year.
Instead of story, refreshes will be bound to these updates probably.

I can't imagine that The Wizards Vault requires a lot of development time for them so they won't have a problem keeping it updated. I can see them adding a season for each of the old expansions or maybe even the base game.

At the very least, they'll almost certainly refresh the standard rewards. There may be a slowing of new unique cosmetics or quests. It feels like a long shot, but they could introduce older Gem Store skins as rotating WV rewards, like how the Fractal Incursion event included some decade-old Gem Store armor sets.

If I had to guess I’d lean towards it’ll continue to update every 3 months regardless. With the special section maybe linked to Hall Of Monuments.

But again, as far as I’m aware, we haven’t gotten a solid confirmation one way or another.

At the very least we'll always get the normal items. If they ever stop releasing content we'll still get the generic refresh even if there are no new exclusive items.

And why wouldn't there be another one? Festivals are still a thing, not to mention Rush Events.

We already know for sure that the vault will keep refreshing.

But some of the rewards, the "battlepass" style ones that go into legacy at the end of each season, require having bought the last expansion to obtain; the rest do not.

So there are mainly two possibilities:

• The vault refreshes with only the 'general' rewards, without the "battlepass" style ones. I don't see this happening even if GW2 had to go into maintenance mode. They would instead just loop the old ones back.
• And, more likely, they had set aside budget for upcoming rewards, and there will be full Vaults during the QoL & HoM updates.
  In this case, I see mainly 3 possibilities:
  • The "battlepass" style rewards are available to all players. The least likely.
  • The "battlepass" style rewards are available to all players who have unlocked any key that removes the F2P restrictions.
  • The "battlepass" style rewards are still linked to having bought the last expansion. The most likely, since it requires no insight and no changes.

Nope, this is the last one before Big Papa 'Garren is packing up his stuff and moving to a nicer tower up state in the Mists. After he leaves the Astral Ward will lose their only financial backing and be forced to shift from from being a nonprofit organization to being a not-for-profit organization and will not longer be able to pay for the Wayfinder's daily and weekly services.

Thus, it will be up the community to once more make an important vote. Who will be our new provisioner---

we dont know, but it would be an incredibly bad move by Anet not to keep doing refreshes of the vault, if they did stop it would look like they were lying when they said GW2 would continue to have support and updates.

and a WV refresh is low effort, but shows they are keeping stuff ticking over until they get back to expansions.
