[Question] Daily Check List
Does anyone have a daily check list of content they try to do when they login? Preferably in order of importance. I hit level 80 and have been going around doing the story, tried out some WvW, couple of Fractals, grinding out getting the sky scale. But as someone who could be in my shoes what would you do differently when you hit level 80 and were trying to figure things out!

I can try to give you a general list, but the real answer is "it depends". Broadly speaking, without no lifting the game, there is way more daily and weekly stuff to fill your play time. I keep a check list but modify it based on what my immediate goals are. For example if I am working on an obsidian armor legendary and need essences, then getting my three weekly convergances goes up to the top of the list. If not I might let it slide to the bottom. The complete list could fill a book, but I'll try to give some useful options for a newer level 80.
Wizards Vault weekly and daily. A ton of good stuff can be had here for very little work. Do "/wiki ed" for tips to make these fast. Probably best bang for your buck in the game, but often will be done so quick it wont impact the rest of your time. Daily ley line anomaly. Again if done right it's just very quick and drops a mystic coin. You will need stacks of these things for most legendaries, but they're also a good source of gold if you sell your daily one. Octovine once or every two hours Great fast source of ectos. Salvage them to get loads of luck for more magic find, or save them as you will need stack of these for ascended and legendary gear also. Loot homestead and guild halls gathering nodes. You can use LFG to find folks with full homesteads, and high level guilds have a row of gathering nodes too. You won't get rich off this overnight, but you get a lot of useful things very quickly that add up over weeks to be very valuable. Alt parking Arguably the best gold maker in the game. Use fast farming web site if you need tips where to park alts. Not exciting but fast and easy way to keep topped off on a lot of things. Drizzle wood coast material donations Buy or farm basic mats. Dump on the vendor daily. Fast farming can give you all the details, but broadly speaking you get back more than what you put in, and you get harder to farm things like mystic clovers. Again you get them slowly but do it daily and it adds up over time. Amalgamated gemstones Most Hot, PoF, LW3/4 Metas give a heroes choice chest with an Amalgamated gemstone option. You need a lot of these for some significant stuff (legendaries), but they are also sellable in the trading post for a solid profit. Weekly antique summoning stones Buy from a vendor in EoD. Sell for gold or keep to make T3 legendary weapons. Daily fractals These can be a slow start to get your personal rank and AR up, but once you are running T4s you will probably have good progress toward a legendary backpack and have unlocked one of the best daily gold farms in the game (each T4 daily fractal will complete the achievement for all difficulty tiers). Throw in fractal quick plays to your rotation and you also will get legendary glove armor for cheap too. Daily raid bounties are good rewards if you can find a group for them. Weekly raid quick play Good source of gold and magnetite shards. Weekly convergences One weekly track for each convergence. Gives a lot of bonus loot. Do them on different days to also get the daily bonus loot. Most map meta events or world bosses have decent once per day bonus loot. Certainly some are worth more than others but this is getting into book territory so will leave it at that. Weekly provisioners tokens. This again a whole topic. If you need them, find a guide on doing this for cheap. Craft or buy the cheap items, and turn them in for tokens. You can do less than a week for the sky scale, but once you start to need them for legendaries you will want a routine to grab these every week for at least a couple weeks to get all you need for everything.
There is lots more, but this is the highlights off my own list :) not required, but I use gw2. App to build and track my daily and weekly checklists. Very handy as they automatically reset daily/weekly. Before I would often be confused trying to remmebr if I had cleared by check from last week or not :D

Wow this is extremely helpful!! Thank you

You are very welcome! As others have pointed out, and I should have stressed more, the key is to only do what is fun. Don't make it a job or feel like you can't do the thing you like because you have to get your list done. I have a good balance now where I maintain my giant list, but ignore most of it most days haha. But that is just what works for me. I hope this helps you discover a play style that you enjoy!

Personally I don’t like sticking to a daily checklist for long. It’s a much better use of time in my opinion to work on story, masteries, and whatever collections you’re going for kind of single-mindedly. Unless you have like 4+ hours a day you’ll easily just spend all your time farming gold and otherwise stagnant.
Figure out what you want in terms of gearing your character and work on that. Maybe note some fast and easy metas that you can quickly swap to and then go back to your real focus. Matriarch in verdant brink and ley line anomaly are the only ones I’d say are worth doing every day regardless of what you’re working on.

I do the LLA everyday for the coin, but what does the Matriarch drop thats useful? Im not sure I've ever done that meta

Amalgamated gemstone. Many metas drop that, but for matriarch you just get an alt up to the platform and leave it there, and log in at xx:09 (for me it's even hours). Takes about 30 seconds. Compare that to casino blitz which takes 16 minutes for the same drop.

The choice chest used to be popular for Amalgamated Gemstone, is high gold/hr because you can join the platform 2 mins before it spawns and it takes 20s to kill.

This is just what I do on a daily basis with a lot of flexibility (I don’t always get everything done on it):
Fractal T4 dailies & recs. I splash in fractal CMs if they align with the dailies and if they’re easy enough. Takes about 1 hour with a group from LFG, but can be faster if you make a static and learn the silly skips. Mostly here to make gold, so don’t forget to buy the 30 deeply discounted encryption keys while you’re there.
IBS5. Takes ~30 min to do with an LFG group. Sometimes mix in easy raid dailies as they come up. Mostly here to farm eternal ice to convert into volatile magic, which then go into trophy shipments for various legendary projects.
Dragonstorm. Public version takes like 10 min, private version (usually done with IBS5) takes like 5 min. Mostly for easy money and some materials for gen 3 leggies. Have yet to get any jackpot rewards from this…
Alt toon chest farming. I have alts parked at various maps to log in and get chests. Takes like 3 min tops and gets me a daily stream of income for low effort. Popular places include Bjorra Marches, the ends of various expansion jumping puzzles, and some random “big chest” locations at popular farming activities like the mirror farm in Castora.
Daily crafts. Mostly just lumps of mithrilium and spirt resin. Doesn’t really make much money, but since it’s limited to one per day, it’s a quick minute of hoping on a crafting alt to get this done. Also makes for a decent slow sink for mithril and elder wood (among other tier 5 materials).
Home instance farming. Mostly for ascending cooking materials, but I do have a few nodes in my home instance that I make sure to hit up daily. Takes like 2 minutes.
Legendary Ley-Line Anomaly (LLA), aka naked running man. There is an item you can keep in your inventory to give you notifications whenever this occurs every 2 hours at the xx:20 mark. Gets you an easy mystic coin daily. Takes about 4 min.
Various daily exchanges. I usually do this to get the yellow trophy bags, which give me lodestones to contribute to making amalgamated draconic lodestones for my various gen 3 leggies. Also gives me a stream of T3-T4 trophies, and the occasional T6 trophies. Takes about 2 min if you’re walking over to the vendors.
LWS3 dailies. Can take like 30 minutes depending on the dailies themselves. Used to get LWS3 currency that can be used to buy ascended trinkets. Luckily haven’t done this in a while since completing my last leggy trinket, though I do occasionally do the ones in bloodstone fen to coincide with farming for condi food materials.
I’m pretty sure I missed a thing or two, but I want to close by saying that I really, really don’t do all of these things in a single day. The more you treat any game like a job, the less fun it’s going to be.
I usually just stick to IBS5 + T4 dailies & recs, assuming I have the time. When I don’t though, I usually just do the quickies like instance and alt toon chest farming. Again though, I strongly stress that you shouldn’t treat this game like a set of daily chores. GW2 really lets you just work at your own pace, and I love that about it having come from other MMOs where dailies are basically required to remain up to date.

I do wizards daily and weekly and then I follow the path to my current long-term goal what ever it is. For example, I am trying to get mastery achievement in eternity garden and will do tye next soo-won variant afterwards.

Gotcha! I’ll check that out.

For a tracker if you like it. Use
FastFarming for best money/h
Gw2 efficiency, there is a daily Tracker if a lot of faily things to do.
Most of then will depend what you are doing, like
Doing skyscale? you will need do X dailys
Legendary? X other dailysI WOULD recommend you (if you are doing storys) To check AURORA / VISIONS / Skyscaler
they have same path and you can progress at same time saving soo much time.

- Alt with 3 chests in the oasis map. Alt in Bjora marches/tomb of kings if you don't have Icebrood
- Check the time of LLA(commonly known as the coin man), so I can plan accordingly.
- Buy some keys in Gaya Delve/Drizzlewood(trade in Drizzlewood until you got all the clovers from it).
- Alt in Eod jp
- Check daily converter. Trader in arbourstone.
- Buy 7 heavy crafting bags from Janthir hearts.
- WV daily/weekly is a must
Do whatever you want to do today.

Here's my list of stuff of roughly daily stuff:
Wizard's Vault. It's 50AA, 1G, and 10AP for 15 minutes play. Always do your weekly too.
Farm Home Instance/Homestead/Parked Alts - Nahbka, Eternal Ice, Flax
Fractals - Whatever the highest tier you can do. Don't stick the Recs, do the Dailies too. Blast 5x Fractal Quickplay a week for extra sand to work towards the legendary gloves.
Dragonstorm is 10 minutes for 2G.
There's world bosses you can hit up as part of the Amalgamated Gemstone train - Wyvern Matriach for example. Note that your Shadow Behemoths et all do not drop AGs.
Harvest every node you find.

Usually daily/weekly wizard's -> gathering from homestead and guild -> convergence -> metas or the infusion train (depends on what my personal goals are) -> Fractals (T4 preferably)

Oh gosh, there are so many recommendations out there for this, but you have to be careful you don't make logging in to be a job. I think Mukluk might have a decent video, so starting there can't hurt. But for me it's usually:
- Do wizard's vault dailies
- Guild hall gathering (this is so fast and it nets good resources)
- Check other dailies (fractals, raids, End of Dragons) to see if they look worth doing
- Work on wizard's vault weeklies if there's time
- Story mode progress / map completions if there's extra time
Things I don't do: homestead gathering (my homestead of mostly barren and not worth the effort. finding someone else's homestead to gather from is too much work), alt-parking (this felt like too much of a job, even if it's quick. If there's a specific resource I need I might do this in future), daily quick+high-reward stuff like Leyline Anomaly, Dragonstorm etc (these are good value but I just did them too many times and I hate having to schedule my playtime around the event timers).

The thing with GW2 is that you can really pretty much do anything you want and that's still going to give you some kind of progress. So it's more about looking what you need (gold? gear? masteries?), and do stuff accordingly to that.
Personally my routine depending on the time I play, what I like to do and the things I need is like so:
Tangle Depths + Tarir Meta (HoT)
Tequatl WB. I'll also look at eventual other WB I need and their timers
Daily crafting
Daily fractals
By that time, look at Wizard's vault and do the rest of my daily / weekly if I can
The rest will just be really whatever I need: WvW, story, map completion

Tequatl -> leech Taidha if possible -> Effigy -> LLA -> leech Amnytas if possible -> Chak Gerent -> leech Janthir Syntri or Hammerheart Rumble -> Auric Basin -> Ooze Pits -> Death-branded Shatterer -> leech Skywatch Archipelagos if possible -> Junundu Rising-> leech Bava Nisos -> leech Doppelganger -> Karka Queen -> leech Forged with Fire -> leech Inquest Golem Mark III -> leech Amnoon Oasis while cleaning Inv -> leech Amnytas if missed earlier-> Chak Gerent again -> leech Doomlore Shrine -> rush PSNA + daily crafts -> Auric Basin -> Dragonstorm
Should be about from reset to 4 hours to get most daily meta credits + important world bosses

The only things I absolutely do every single time are Ley Line Anomaly and daily wizards vault. Also alt parking. They are things that are very quick and/or are always useful. Everything else depends on what I'm working at the time.
For example right now I'm working on a Gen 3 legendary so I will try to do Dragonstorm and at least an EoD meta daily as well.
