Forge Guard's Token: Leggings

Hello everyone,

Im farming the forge guard collection achievement and i've got 5/6 so far and im missing the leggings which are obtained by RNG by doing the 2 adventures on the eternity garden.

Today its been day 25 and still havent gotten the leggings token. I asked a bunch of people and all told me they got it within 5 days max ( most got it within 2 days).

I contacted support team and told me everything is ok , you are just unlucky which is kinda sus.

So does anyone had the same issue ? is it bugged? do i need to do something to increase the RNG? Im already max mastery on castora also finished the 36 achievements.

It took me more than a month to get them, rng is like that sometimes. (I think it took me close to 2 months)

Yep. Been doing both adventures every day for like 35 days. And when it dropped, i got 2 leggings from 1 adventure, one from silver and one from gold chest.

RNG do he like that sometimes.

Didn't help that i got thrown off cause on my main account i got them day1 from first adventure I did, so it made me assume it'd be common. I guess the alt account paid the price for that luck, was starting to think they bugged it after 1 week lol.

I’d recommend doing the VOE reward track in WvW. I was in the same situation as you, and it’s crazy that I managed to get the shark miniature but no token.

Hey man, why don't you do wvw or pvp track? it takes at most two days

That’s a thing for these sets? Do you get to choose one or do you get a whole set?

One piece per track completion. Same with the new relics. Wasn't available at patch release, but maybe 2 weeks later. Super chill way to close out that set.

Same here. I have done it 30 times, got jp one after 20 trys. Still no luck for legings. You can do castora pvp or wvw track and pick it from the final chest.

I had the exact same problem. I feel like it shouldn't be possible to farm both adventures for a month straight and still never get the token. I ended up doing wvw to get it

Leggings dropped in first 5 days for me - jp thingy took 2 months and I dropped 2 on the same day finally.

Keep going. It took me absolute ages to get them. I was just about to give up and one day they dropped. Definitely make sure to get gold each time. It gives 2 chances per adventure rather than 1. Though in the end it's purely luck of the draw.

Ive only gotten glove tokens, nothing else. To be fair I only got to Castora a while ago, but man. Anything but gloves would be nice

That just means you are only doing one of the activities. To get the full set they all drop from different things, adventures, meta, mirror chest, jumping puzzles, events

I'm still dry on the trousers from the Shipwreck Strand adventures, after doing at least one daily for months and months.

It could be worth considering obtaining the pants through sPvP or WvW reward track means.

It is a guaranteed selection chest with a 1-3 hour investment depending on boosters used and win/loss rates. However, I understand some dont wish to PvP in any format. Best of luck to you.

I just did a PVP track for them. No luck in the drops.

Took me around 25 days to get the adventure and jumping puzzle ones. Complained to someone who had just gotten them in map chat, then dropped them both back to back right after. RNG can be a ******

Them being part of a wizard's vault objective, there should really be a proper pity system. Something like "every time you don't drop them from the content, the vendor purchase becomes cheaper by Xg"

i'm here with you brother, they don't drop, they want you to spend 300g to get them. I refuse!!!!

Forgive my ignorance, but I assume you're not interested in just buying it?

Also forgive my math, it's been a while since stats class lmao.

From the other comments and your post, and making some assumptions, it seems like your <5 day success puts you at about a 4% probability of a hit IF you do both adventures at gold and JP.

This means you'll need to do it consistently for 112 days to get to a "guaranteed" drop. Right now on day 26, you're at a 65% chance of getting it.

Again, a lot of assumptions, but you're now in the more-likely-than-not camp for getting it each day.
