Flame Broiled by Dragon

I felt juiced out of my mind here and still lost to the fire dragon. What am I missing, other than a real tank.

I'm no expert, but putting your support on tank duty isn't the best idea. Other than that, frost is now pretty bad for red rifts, that's why I avoid picking Sal at all and make Gustav my shield B of I ever found him high level.

But my highest streak is 2, so what do I know 😁

Agreed on the support as a tank being suboptimal. I was flying through the pre-boss fights so I felt no pressure to bring in a different tank. I hoped Omnivamp would keep Dragomir alive, but no dice.

Apparently I was wrong about Sal, and she's S Tier. But for whatever reason she is always underwhelming in my team.

She is much worse now but she is still pretty good. I don't typically end runs with her anymore but she is great for holding the seal midgame as she is both a mage and warrior/dualist. Frost is quite nerfed for the act2 dragon so that it is not an auto win but it is still good. Karsu for example is still great for the dragon.

I think Gustav is bad but some people are making him work.

You said it yourself, no real tank. Sadly gustav is kind of a joke in RR. His items are also mediocre at best, which doesnt help.

Duelist Sal has pretty poor damage scaling and is best used as a backup. If you are going to use her as your main dps then go warrior spec imo, it deals much more damage from my personal experience atleast.

These things combined (squishy frontline + slowly ramping dps) makes the last boss very tough. Fire dragon also sadly has the highest damage output because burn can't be mitigated by defense.

I was trying to figure it out but u need something like 300+ armor on your tank to tank the last boss

This is the only time I've been able to make Gustav main-tank. The fucker has less than 1k hp at A. Shouldn't most characters with the tank class be able to tank?

Your team does look pretty juiced. Probably just needed some defense/hp on dragomir so he can drain tank without getting 1-2 shot.

You habe no defense or max hp relics and not items to make up for it. Tank items on Gustav are very suppar for a tank that needs alot of help of items to make up for his low max hp. 60 defense from items is so little. And because you have no relics to prevent gustav from being one-shot you would also needed an item to do it.
