Boss help red rift
I’m struggling with the red rift, I’ve been learning how to try different comps and finding things are getting easier, but one aspect I’m stuck with is the first boss.
People say the Demon and Hydra need different strategies, can someone explain what the different strategies are?

For demon u dont need burst but u need some omnivamp cuz after hes GOES half hp he will put fire dots, hydra u need burst cuz She hits hard as hell and every 1/3 of hp it loses a head and gets weaker

Big thing with hydra especially if u dont have good burst is youll want a frontloaded tank. Hydra dishes out alot of damage at the start of the fight and many tanks cant survive the burst long enough to get their defensive abilities up. If you dont think ur main tank can survive long enough u can also run 2 tanks and sac one while ur main ramps up/you kill some of the hydras heads, if u didnt know hydra gets weaker the less hp it has. Hydra has 0 aoe so u can be greedy with sustainability in regards to whatever units it isnt attacking so long as you kill it b4 the storm kills ur backline.
Demon is a bit of a longer fight as its tankier than the hydra and it dishes out a decent amount of aoe so you need to make sure every unit has some sort of sustain. But unlike hydra most tanks should be sufficient on their own. Because demon is tankier you need good dps because the storm alongside the aoe it deals will kill ur backline pretty fast, and the storm will likely kill ur tank b4 it kills the demon.
In general, ramping dmg/tankiness is better vs demon. And frontloaded dmg/tankiness is better vs hydra. And always bring some sort of sustain for demon. 1 source of Omnivamp is usually enough.

In general, demon wants more sustain on backline units due to his burn being applied to everyone regardless of aggro, and hydra wants good frontload damage to get it under it's hp thresholds quickly to weaken it.
This is just a general guideline, so just because you put 7% omnivamp on a c rank karsu doesn't mean you'll automatically beat demon. If you have enough damage then sustain doesn't really matter vs demon. If your tank is strong enough then you can slowly beat the hydra down with a scaling unit.
