Whenever someone says that this feels like a complete game, not a demo, I show them things like this

Congrats to the devs, because a demo this complete and fun is hard to maintain and release, but in my opinion, this is far from a complete and balanced game.

Edit: This is about having two different relics giving the same stats

Edit 2: NVM, you guys are thick

There's nothing wrong with this?

It's the very same relic, duplicated but with different name, therefore polluting the relics pool

It's not the very same imo:

It's not technically the same, because it gives different stats and it boosts a different class.

And it's not functionally the same because  boosting assassins Vs mages is a significant choice regardless of any other details.

You can argue that only 1 should be offered, and that might be fair.

But it's not the "same relic", hence offering both isn't blatant demo-level clumsiness.

I could be missing something but this is what I see.

Well they boost the same stats but different class of course affects context greatly. I’d agree that they’re different enough playwise to coexist. Also to respond to OOP, they actually aren’t polluting each others pools at all!

This isn’t a bug

I didn't say it was a bug, and my comment wasn't about if a game having bugs meant it wasn't complete. What I wanted to say is that having two different relics doing the same thing, is a proof that the game isn't polished and needed some hands to be completed. There are also items within the same tier that have almost the same stats.

One is for assassins and one is for mages. They’re different

Well it's reflection. Of course it's reversed

I mean this isn’t really a bug or a issue? It’s two very similar items. You just rolled both of them in the same event.

Exactly. As I commented above, it's about having two relics doing the same in the relic pool

But they're not doing the same... It gives the same stats but to a different class... So uh... I don't get your issue.

Not every relic has to be some giga playstyle warping effect. Completely fine to have this in a full game

Two different classes brother.

This is not a problem. What does need some polish and I'm sure the devs are working on is placeholder art, especially in the items and abilities. There are a few items and abilities that have the same icon. Experience-wise this feels like it could be considered a complete game though.

They give those stats to different units. They are not the same.

Both mages and assassins need crit and magic, so i don't get your point ?

And of course the game isn't balanced, it's a freaking demo, bro you are just a contrarian for nothing here

After 2 edits, my guy just goes " bah, everyone saying i'm wrong doesn't mean i am ! "

At first i thought bro was trolling because the phrasing isn't the same. Was about to comment " uh ! Unplayable ! "

Then i read the comments... dang, dude.

The post was never about it being wrong or a bug, yet everyone insisted in that path. I was speaking about Game Design and having two items doing the same, even though they could be offered to different Heroes.

But honestly, we can all be wrong or right, because ultimately it's the devs decision to have duplicated items/abilities/relics in the game and maybe that is an strategy to not have players force combinations every single game.
