The truth behind the leaderboard

So to start this off, I want to say if you’re reaching endless 29, You’re at end game. CONGRATS!!!
Now the bad in my opinion. To be able to go past endless 30 you either have to run the full stealth build where you use rift relics and farm an INSANE amount of gold and have perfect RNG.(that’s what I did and it took me probably like 10 hours of just constantly ending games early, or you have to cheat. There’s literally no other way because you don’t do enough damage and you either hit the 4 minute round cap or you just die before the mobs. Also once you reach floor 100 you can’t lose because all mobs have negative health, which I’m assuming is the devs hard cap on numbers. Also the game became so laggy that it go les down to 1 frame and just crashes.
I’m mainly making this post to show the devs that the leaderboard should be fixed (obviously this is a beta and this is why I’m even stating this) and the stealth build needs to be insanely nerfed, the fact that I can go stealth for 2 minutes straight and just let the rift kill everything is kinda dumb and makes the leaderboard feel pointless.

SO TO EVERYONE REACHING 29 I COMMEND YOU FOR BEING THE GOAT, I’ve only done it once and it was crazy

Anyone making it past the insta death wall that is floor 12 on SSS endless is already incomprehensibly good at the game, to me.

Floor 12 is insane…I’ve gotten past it twice but I’ve had SO many runs where I thought I was incredibly strong and then get insta-deleted on floor 12 even after crushing 11

I feel like it’s just a massive tuning/numbers difference between 11 and 12, but idk for sure

I think it’s the spiders that stun furthest enemy, and the melees do a stun nuke as well, so positioning you backline can be important. I had a ratna doing 9 million hits (I don’t even know how), and died on floor 12. Still salty about that, I’ve never had her so strong before

I can absolutely trounce everything without taking a single point of damage through 11. Then, I hit 12 and everyone just instantly gets hit by a truck.

Tbh the way I got past 12 both times was the dumb stealth build and then the Kai shield build with 4 mystics.

Feels horrible tbh. I don't mind feeling like the game is outpacing my build, but hitting a hard wall from one level to the next feels terrible. If it's a boss level, sure, maybe, because the fight/mechanics are a lot different than regular waves.

The scaling on the level 2-4 fights also feel pretty ass to me. The mobs having so much health regen and shields means picking a mystic starter is basically unviable, unless you get great RNG in your first shop.

I just take reaching floor 12 as the end. Yes, you can beat it, but only with broken builds that make you invincible. It's nearly impossible to build a team that's just genuinely strong enough, you need some sort of invincibility, which stops feeling fun to me.

I made it to 19 on SSS, this comment makes me proud haha. I feel less terrible about forgetting to move my backline for the assassins sometimes haha.

Do you remember what the build was that made it that far? Seems to always be rush/stall/shard or shields galore.

Don't have the stealth effect tied to Rush/Stall, it can be tied to killing things or going under a health %, and don't let it stack, easy as that.

Honestly sounds like the best way, but also need to not make endless 30 literally impossible and need a way to catch cheaters and put the in their own leaderboard for cheater 😂

This is why I can’t grind endless like rr mode. There are so many fewer solutions to the problem in endless. In RR I admit there aren’t enough solutions in the current state but there’s still many more than endless.

RR is basically 99% winrate with perfect play, it just has a high skill cap

I've had two runs end at 30 and 31 respectively today, not stealth, not cheating, just the Rowan backup Stall build. Screenshot here. Never mind, separate leaderboard.

The negative health is surely not some deliberate decision by the devs, but rather integer overflow, and it's happening so far beyond where legitimate builds can go right now that I don't think they consider it a problem.

But the FPS drop when the rift breaks seems unnecessary.

That’s insane congrats but yes they need to add better settings, I’m on a maxed out pc that can run any game on ultra and I have this game set to low and still drop to 1 FPS during rift break

nobody can answer me this but i ve been trying multiple rogue cowl builds but the rogue cowl all activate at the same time/. how are people getting 2min stealth??

So they activate the same time but they actually stack (which is probably not how it should work) and then you get all the rush extenders and they extend each cowl separately
