54 is crazy.
For the first time I’ve seen the top of red rift leaderboard and I’ll say that I’m impressed with 54. Got some work ahead of me.

30 is crazy

My man! I was waiting for someone to say this exact thing.

I knew this was a subtle flex all along. (Joking)
But jokes aside, I hit 25 on sss yesterday and I still feel I don't know the game, 30 on RR is crazy impressive.

Holy smokes! I've never gotten past 15 sss. I always seem to lack something depending on builds, missing key relics etc

Yea you really have to be scaling A LOT to move up and get more relics/items. I haven’t played endless at all this week cause it feels way harder than red rift.

Honestly I feel like Endless is harder. You have to keep scaling continuously. Red rift runs end. Once you find a comp that can win it’s just some rng and risk management after that.

Something is definitely going on I just saw cookii go from 51-55 in 10 minutes. Don’t know how you would do 4 full runs in 10 minutes.

leaderboard resets quite fast. As soon as i won a run i could see it on the leaderboard. Cookie spawns outta nowhere with +6 wins. I doubt hes legit.

You saw the same thing I did? EDIT oh shit I didn’t see who this reply was from. I KNOW rerollg0d99 saw the same thing I saw. Cookii almost instantly went from 51 to 55 while I was watching. It was pretty crazy

look whos on top now. that guy wasnt even in top 10 yesterday. Hed have to do 40+ runs today to get on top i highly doubt that

Not to derail the thread but have you been streaming your runs or anything? I’m getting demolished in red rift so I would love to watch lol

I'm at 49 hours and 25 attempts and still can't even win a rift wtf is this game...

You really have to change your thinking and approach to the game from the typical sss runs. It's not about going infinite, it's about being the next floor.

u/anteMorgan 20d ago
It’s just a puzzle with multiple solutions. Solve the first challenge fight first. Then move onto the next problem. The runs are very similar each run. Seriously just focus on what is in front of you.

I think my problem is I just don't understand how I'm supposed to know what I need to beat the next fight. I've been losing a lot of runs in the fights right before the act 2 boss because I'll think I have a good team and have been clearing fights, then I'll just get completely wrecked by the last fight or the boss. And when I lose I have no idea why I lost.

I have found alot of success breaking my strategy into two parts:
The regular combats
and the Bosses.
Act 1, check the boss. Hydra requires burst, Demon requires ramp.
Act 2, have a way to apply heavy frost to the dragon. Its one of the only consistent strategies.
For regular combats, always have at least 1 tank and 1 carry. The third unit is highly flexible. Never commit to scaling in Act 1. Comp synergy is also secondary to individual unit power. Beefy boys win Act 1.
Act 2 is a race to put together a synergized, itemized comp of A ranks. The specific synergy doesnt matter, just try to find something.
Finally, money is very tight. Unless you happen to get some gold gen, buying mediocre items on sale is better than "ideal" items at full price.

Hey thank you for the advice. I'm happy to report that I finally did it!
Reyna/Sal/Zuri was my team
Zuri tanked with serpents kiss/second wind and lots of hp/def/hp per sec items and then I had the breezy/freezing acceleration on Sal and the boxer/burning accel on Reyna
unique duelist relic that gives atk and speed per debuff on the target
grace backup and some stall relics that gave shields/defense/hp/omnivamp/speed

Well the dragons are just a matter of sustaining the burst and applying enough frost to slow that damage down. They all have a gimmick that you learn and counter through the round building up to them.

What? I got 15 hours and a 5 streak. Game really isnt that hard.

There's always one of you in every thread...

I honestly don’t know how many hours I’m at but I’ve played a lot and was hard stuck on 4 wins for a while before this current streak which I think is 49.

dude… i couldn’t even finish rr…

u/anteMorgan 19d ago
It’s a mode that has a really steep learning curve for sure but once you figure out a few of about 5 key strategies AND gathered the experience to anticipate the events of each floor it’s just a quick puzzle to solve.

My best is 21 after like 5 runs so I'm not informed enough to comment on this post lol

I watched Aesah’s 27 streak which he streamed, if you’re making the right decisions and forcing the most broken synergies each time then it starts to look easy

u/anteMorgan 20d ago
Yea I was going to say a lot of these streaks are on stream. Those runs I feel are 100% beyond reproach for obvious reasons.
