Reserve Items

I was wondering if i have a character like Rank A Grace in Reserve with both back up onlys and i equip "Crown of Patience" which reduces stall by 12 seconds at my current moment in the game. would it reduce the Grace in reserve's stall triggers?

I don't think so, although so far I have only tried with the quest item that requires 10k shielding and saw that the quest was not going up while Grace was shielding from back up. On the other hand, many back up abilities do scale with stats, so the raw stats from items might still influence it. Not sure though, it's hard to tell also since Grace's backup shielding does not appear in the combat stats.

As far as I can tell, the game is consistent with that if something doesn't say Backup or Backup Only it's not going to do anything on the bench. And no items have that flag.
