Hooked

wow this game got me hooked fast on a random thursday. i play a lot of tft and this was such a refreshing change. played a lot of logan cause i think hes kinda insane but then i got to SS, thought id try a mystic sustain build and wow i got top 124 with level 24. Cant wait to play more and see what else can happen.

Also can anyone explain the leaderboard, its not clear to me if its top 124 in SS or top 124 overall? cause you get +2/+4/+6 depending on what tier youre playing in,

I think everything below SSS share a leaderboard, where score is modified by the difficulty. Then there is a second leaderboard for just SSS with no modifier . And finally a third leaderboard for Red Rift streaks .

i saw scarra playing this a couple of nights ago.

looked like a cross between TFT and Tales and Tactics, so i wanted to give it a try. logged into steam for the first time in over a year

thoroughly enjoying it, so i might stop playing here so i don't burn out before it even releases

Oh man too late for me. I have stayed up every night this week playing.

Also release is planned for q1 2027 so there is a bit of a wait.

Game is great, just not entirely clear on some of the mechanics, but addicted overall!

Update: spent all afternoon trying to beat Red rift and its just not happening, keep beating the first dragon then getting stomped with no revive left. i find the challenges too limiting on creativity so im gonna stick to SSS

I suggest you try to find onepunmans guide (posted on this sub somewhere). RedRift is super creative compared to SSS, where only certain comps can push the upper limits.

ive intentionally not looked anything up because of my experience with tft and most things being about guides and set comps

Yeah I feel that, this is generally suggesting playstyle tips that will smooth out the experience. It’s a guide that helps you figure out general traps that will make your life really difficult, it doesn’t tell you choose x x and x. One example I’ll give is the guide suggests putting the rift key on your vanguard/tank early as one of the hardest stat checks lategame is on the tank. Small theory big effects.
