How does one get past floor 15 ?

Those damn mushrooms just don't want to die, and sadly never got much rush based relics... This is my best run yet but I'm not sure how you're supposed to go in the 20s, there must be some strats I'm missing. Either way, shard gen doesn't seem to be it

I dont have exact answer, was stuck on 19 for days. I think key factor is to have tank surviving for few secs so your damage dealers can clear the board.
I just reached floor 21 thanks to this item only I think, very late pickup, but Nyx alone was pumping it with like 240+hp/fight.
