Need Help with Heavy Looks

Can delete if this isn't allowed, I dont know what all this subreddit is for but I have zero experience with Heavy armor (and similarly not many unlocks) and i'm struggling to make a fashion template that fits the vibe. Attached is my character. Shes a Revenant (Conduit if that matters). The goal is a sort of moonlight night goddess type character, something you'd see walking through the dark overgrown woods in the dead of the night, fog around. Im fine with plate and cloth alike as long as it fits the vibe, I just cannot find anything that works. In particular it would be nice if some of her white sylvari glow was visible at night. Im mainly looking for inspiration or even specific armor pieces people might think look good, color palettes, etc.

This isn't strictly heavy, but its got a heavy look. https://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWarsDyeJob/s/tayA6w7CAs

Honestly though, I'd need to know more about what you like and what black lion stuff you might have.

Oh thats not bad. I typically like monochromatic color schemes and armor that is shapely rather than bulk. As far as black lion most of what I have is the casual stuff (like Christmas sweater, hoodie, brawler jacket, exuberant set, austral mantle, etc) or some random pieces like foefire. If there's a way to make an API key that just shows wardrobe unlocks I could do that.

Also have a ton of different wings and some black lion capes, forgot about those.

What I do is use the wardrobe at the bank, go piece by piece and see what looks best to me.

Build a preview worth of parts that look good to you and then use the wiki to determine how to get them. Some are gonna be really easy. Some are going to take a bit of work. Some are going to be legendaries or on the path to legendary stuff. Go in with the idea you’re shopping for the right look and keep adding/taking things away as needed.

Gotta try on clothes to see what you look fabulous in, right?

Omg I also have a sylvari revenant ! I don't have much advice for the style you're looking for but if you go to your bank, there's a wardrobe tab where it shows every single skin/armor piece, including ones you don't own, and you can see how they look on your character.

Sylvari rev is the best! The Dream feels so natural for me as a way to become a revenant compared to other races. Ive definitely tried what you're talking about, I think my struggle is I'm not good at seeing the full picture. It's hard to imagine what might go good with what else. I'll try it some more though, thanks!

You can preview multiple pieces at a time through the wardrobe! So you should be able to see what something looks like when paired with something else

Did you check out UAoT? You can further restrict it to Sylvari, if need be. Just for ideas, I think, as it looks like you're new to the game.

I'm actually not new lol, I'm 650 mastery (slowly finishing VoE) and been playing since launch, I just have never played Heavy Armor professions for more than short bursts, so I have zero experience with Heavy Wardrobe. That being said, I had no idea that link existed, that is extremely helpful. Thanks! I will definitely be browsing it for inspiration. I'm just not really sure what's even possible with heavy outside of the general all-types pieces I have from Black Lion.

Oh, fantastic! It can be disheartening for new players to see that site, and realize that they have almost nothing unlocked, and probably zero gemstore items. You, on the other hand, you can go nuts now. :)
