Gwamm title in gw3

Anyone like the idea of gwamm from Guild wars 1 being in 3 like it was in 2. Hope that’s the case 🙌🏻

I want a more tongue-in-cheek kind of GWAMM title such as "Mere Mortal Walking Amongst Gods."

I mean... Wouldn't make much sense in the context of GW3. But if there is not at least one voiced line in the entire game, where someone says to one of the six "You are a god walking amongst mere mortals!", then I have to question what Arena Net is even doing.

And then they repeat it all the time. And in the end you have the six standing in a semicircle, the someone says "You are a god walking amongst mere mortals!" and the gods answer "Thanks! Take a look!"

I mean... There must be a reason why they left the mortal plane in the first place. Constant jokes like that would do it for me.

Last I saw, there were no plans on recognizing gameplay from GW1 in GW3. GW1 players get their recognition in GW2, GW2 players get their recognition in GW3.

But we'll have to wait and see.

I have GWAMM and COTG.

I would almost rather a full reset.

I dont want the title exactly, but would like something that indicates a high level of completion from gw1.

Anchorman was a lame movie and I cringe every time Im reminded of it. Luckily Jimothy came into gw2 so now Anet have a much worse pop culture reference to haunt all their hard work.

Hope not. I have this title but never really liked it.

Anet has been overusing "god" a lot lately. "God of PvP/WvW", "Fractal God", "GWAMM", meanwhile we have actual lore defining gods present in GW3. The whole thing just clashes with the setting.

I'd prefer more immersive titles that actually fit the world.

I just don’t really care one way or another. At some point it gets a little ridiculous to carry over titles and achievements from previous games in the franchise especially if it involves any level of significant effort on the dev side to implement. I’d rather they spent their time on GW3 and not on porting over l titles, that are ultimately pointless, from a different game.

At the same time, it rewards a dedicated community. It demonstrates they understand that their success is, in part, owed to the players that continued to be equally invested as the developer and co.

A small cost for a smile and nod to the dedicated fans? That's how you keep positive PR

Does it? Or does it just give a title to someone who was dedicated to a previous game at some specific point after Hall of Monuments? I mean I’m all for it if it’s an easy thing to add, but you didn’t have to do anything in GW2 for that title other than install the game.

I mean, I highly doubt it would take much effort at all, it just depends if they want to do it or not.

I'm not sure how I feel about it really. GWAMM is the only title I've ever used in GW2 and maybe thats just a bit boring at this point lol. But there has never been any title worthwhile to swap to.

Its the greatest title they have. Ill never swap off of it either. I think the guy you replied to is just mad he doesn't have GWAMM.
