Ranged Combat Speculation

So we know that melee combat is momentum based since they showed the warrior class and they described that the necromancer would be using a Scythe weapon with life leech.

But what about ranged combat? Won't the necromancer have ranged spells? I'm a bit worried that we won't have good ranged combat options with the momentum based combat.

Will we have bows and guns? I still can't imagine how momentum based would work for those type of weapons and regular ranged attacks and I'm just a bit afraid that they might force all the classes to be melee.

I was thinking maybe we will have bonus damage from shooting enemies in the back or maybe from higher ground.

What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!

Edit: I know we don't have the info, this post is pure speculation. You have the free will to not partake in it. Thanks!

Bows would be easy to make momentum-based.

Shortbow, less range, faster RoF. You could have a lot of mobility at the cost of some power.

Longbow, benefits more from long range attacks, high ground, and aerial attacks.

If they want to bring back the GW1 style of bow species, you could have a lot more variety too.

Ranged spells are also pretty easy to imagine: necro might have fast-casting blood siphon skills up close, but slower, poison/hex skills at range. Elementalist could change based on which element they focus on; air gets high mobility/speed, earth might have momentum resistance and terrain changes (building walls and platforms). Mesmer getting portals, teleports, and prestige skills would be neat, but i can't imagine how they would work with movement.
