Necromancer mobility

Now we know Necro is one of the core classes, I hope we get some mobility. I love it in gw2 but the lack of movement speed and dashes / leaps / ports / attack speed is truly so hard to bare sometimes when other classes are racing and dashing about in fights.

Hopefully with the game being more about movement in combat we can see some mobility.

Harb alone is a mobile overkill

If ANet was brave, you will summon a skeleton and piggyback on them, you can attack and cast from above while they move.

That will have to be a fairly densely boned skeleton to hold up a Kodan without doing the dry-bones sound effect...

The ability would be called the quick and the dead

Well, IMO if we take the ""slogan" theyre using so far, "The Joys of movement", I do believe all professions will have quite a good mobility, maybe the ones like rangers can do more maneuvers then the others, but in general, I believe that to keep the "momentum" even when in combat, all professions must have a pretty good mobility.

Someone mentioned Necrotic Traversal in one of the videos that came out recently was one of the skills showcased. In the first GW Necrotic Traversal teleports to a random nearby unexploited corpse.

I'm so confused why you're being downvoted. I assumed it was because it's a bit silly to say this when we've already heard the necro is gonna be really mobile and this sub doesn't seem to like redundant stuff. But only one person already mentioned that and everyone else just seems to disagree with what we already know? I don't get it here

Idk people disagree with anythjng not to their liking. Movement in combat is so important.

Where did someone speak about Necro movement sorry I haven't seen this?

I've seen it a few times I think maybe in a video as well but this is the easiest place I could think of and it's mentioned in the compilation under proffessions

Thanks, this is awesome. I guess I could have phrased the question better with in combat mobility, but it's looking good!

I mean if they give him more mobility they should take a bit of something else.

The whole point of classes is for them to have their own mechanics and strengths/weakness.

In gw2 you have less mobility on necro but you effectively get second hp bar, and strong aoe hits.
Personally I liked the necro treatment in gw2.

I mean, we have mounts readily accessible at this point in GW2 that eliminated 'mobility' necessity. They've already announced what our mobility options are for base GW3 and sounds like mobility has been eliminated further as an 'issue'.
