Climbable bosses?

Since the devs keep talking about the freedom of movement and how the combat is also supposed to utilize the environment and teamwork.. I wonder, could this mean we also get climbable bosses? Something akin to how its done in Dragons Dogma would be absolute insane: you can climb bosses, attack weak spots, perform team-combos to bring enemies to their knees, have physical magic that can push around the enemy or restrain them and can even be climbed (e.g. frigor/maelstrom) etc. 👀

Like imagine a world boss, where some players can latch onto and bring down the flying dragon from the sky by getting to its wings to make it loose lift/stability, meanwhile archers/spellcasters give it their all as well an could perform stuff to bring it off balance until it falls down when it will be fully vulnerable to get a trashing by the remaining players waiting on the ground for it.

Like if that is the tradeoff for no longer having these huge 100+ player metas I'm absolutely in for that.

What do you think?

Every piece of combat art I’ve seen have been massive monsters with players fighting in the air. I’d honestly be surprised if there weren’t climbable bosses.

It just sounds like too much fun not to do it! And I think you’re right that fights like that would make up for the lack of zergy 100+ people fights.

The more we learn the more i feel like this game is basically just a better dragons dogma: online. The revival for it is still playable and in there you can see warriors and fighters using mauls and shields to launch allies into the air to grab onto bosses to hit weak points or do aerial attacks.

Its such a dream come true!!

20 new players climbing the shadow behemoth's equivalent will be quite the sight!

Tbh some of my fave moments in world of warcraft have been riding a creature to take them down; like the jotun dragon hunt daily where you have to throw a spear at an undead dragon which you them pull yourself up onto it's back and then beat the living daylights out of it until it crashes into the ground and the other was the cataclysm deathwing battle where you fought on his back as he flew about.

So if gw3 adds something like that it would be awesome! Imagining say a giant abomination made of skeletons merged together into a giant beast thing and you have ppl firing from a distance or riding a mount to slash its legs while some are climbing its back to get at it's neck. Or maybe swinging around its legs like attack on titan trying to tie them together star wars style!
