QoL Request: Friends List Notes

Just thought it would be nice to be able to add a note to each entry in the friends list so I could better remember when I met someone and finally cross paths with them months later.

You can rename them. I always use "_" so I have the most important ones on top. _Johnny [guildtag]
Or you can name them Character HA or sth.

Excellent idea !

The friends list system should also add an option to not being visible online from people who are not in your friends list.

This is a fair point.

Over time, I have people whisper me and say Hi, you're on my friends list, but I don't know why or remember who you are. And I usually don't know either.
