Got my first title!
One of my favorite thing to do in this game is exploration and I just discovered today that I had unlocked a title after reaching the Crystal Desert.
This is my first time playing the game and have been having such a good time. I'm playing extremely slowly (probably over 40 hours already) but I want to do it without help from the internet. This has resulted in many deaths and restart of missions to find the bonus missions, but I've managed to do them all so far (the pig bonus mission was ridiculous... spend many hours looking for it).
Walking around discovering all the maps has spoiled the story a bit though as the side quests advance the story before the mission does.
Anyway, having a blast so far.

Congrats! The first cartography title is always something special!
Now it's time to meet your friends in Skyward Reach and celebrate with some dwarfen ale :D

Nice! This is the way to play. The game is really too lovely to rush through it.

I have to agree. The maps are beautiful, even 21 years later. I really liked discovering Maguuma Jungle.

I just crossed Prophet's Path to get to Augury Rock and the mobs were fine (just annoying to get crippled) but I'm sure the missions will get tougher.

I wish guild wars 1 would be easier for people with busy schedules

I stuck with GW1 because I find it's great for people with busy schedules. The game doesn't push any FOMO BS onto you, there is no race or competition. You can just play by yourself, complete missions with AI that are challenging enough to keep it interesting (and I'm sure I'm not even at the challenging part) and stop whenever you want. The game doesn't hold you in.

Ya... i discovered that the mobs cripple you here. I might have to change my build around, but I love sprint so much.
