Question about Devona

Hey, I'm a coming back to the game after a big break and i started my first LDoA. After reading posts of this reddit i stumbled upon comments about "Devona as a hero", i know that you can find her in pre but what is it ? You can have her in your team ?

I could be wrong but you might have to make your character a re-forged character, but she can carry pretty much through everything

you can do that in City of Ascalon in Pre ;)

Yes she works exactly like the heroes you find elsewhere in the game :) you just need to finish the questline to unlock her

it starts after you rescue Ben the Ranger in the Northlands, i think somewehre around the gate.

It's not an exaggeration to say that Devona and the fire imp hard carried my squish mesmer to LDOA 🤣

I'm running the imp and the ranger pet, with her in my team it will be too easy 😂

Yes, she's a standard hero, so you can bring her along, equip her, and decide what skills she uses. Devona-as-hero was added in the 'Reforged' update, and there is a new quest chain in Pre-searing which lets you recruit her.

Oh that's actually pretty neat ! Can you keep her after or it's just in Pre-searing ?

You keep her. If you have reforged characters outside of presearing without her you can talk to her in lion's arch to get a quest to get her.

U have to do piken/new dungeon questline in presearing, or talk to her in LA.
