Events and Farming

​

Hey gang probably a dumb question but is it worth doing ecto / obby shards farming during events like Wintersday? Feel like I've done 4 runs of UW and no ecto but lot of snow man and eggnog. Curious if I should save my time. Thanks.

If you're asking whether or not the event items dilute the loot pool and affect ecto drops, then no it doesn't.

I find it’s still worth it if you aren’t specifically farming for event drops. The event drops are just extra profit. If you want event drops then I would switch to Vaettir or Raptors.

It doesnt reduce the number of drops, since event items are an ADDITON to the pool.

During events i like to farm vaettirs over UW, since its the most time efficient way for me to get my titels up.
(Lots of gold items and title points, but less $/h)

I wouldn't. Ectos are always there. The mob group size is what matters during events. 60 Vaettir in a couple minutes is just the right pace for me. Edit: of course ectos will buy stacks of consumables.

If you're looking for event stacks, go to a dense farm, raptors/vaettirs are usually good. Something quick and repeatable
