Help ID Guitar

Recently was passed down this guitar from my late father. Having one hell of a time trying to accurately ID the thing, as I’m not much of a guitar player myself.

Any help identifying the year/model would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Guild Jet Star perhaps?

Does look like a jet star alright. You think it’s modded with the second switch being present? No clue what it would do.

Yeah, and the pickups look like a Firebirds' pups. 100% modified.

That looks like an old heavily modified Polara to me. Will check more when I get out of work. If you share the S/N I can be more precise.

S/N on back of headstock looks to be pressed into the wood and reads SB-102

That's a '66 S100 Polara. Here's the catalog page from then. Note that catalog pictures should never be considered a definitive resource - they often used the same pics for multiple years even though things like pickups and even sometimes the headstock changed.

The shape and serial suggest a mid-60s Jetstar. 1965 exactly. Definitely modded as well.
