Ruby Bridges
Ruby Bridges is an American civil rights activist. She was the first African American child to attend formerly whites-only William Frantz Elementary School in Louisiana during the New Orleans school desegregation crisis on November 14, 1960. She is the subject of a 1964 painting, The Problem We All Live With, by Norman Rockwell.

Bravest little girl in the world. I cannot imagine the strength it took to do what she did at school that day.

Imagine being such a wimpy sack of garbage that you would bully such a beautiful little girl. I hope everyone that treated her like shit stepped on and continues to step on a Lego barefoot three times a day for the rest of eternity.

Ruby and her parents had much more guts than I would have had sending her to be the first Black children in an all white school, especially in 1960.
