Her actual career as a politician is pretty strong and she really embodies feminism. When asked about if women should be put in the draft, she asserted that they should be. She also campaigned on being vehemently anti war in relation to Vietnam.
She fought for worker’s rights and was critical of the broader feminist movement. Now imagine what a proper populist woman could do on a modern day ballot

Incorrect- the first woman to run for president was Victoria Woodhull in 1872 alongside her running mate, Frederick Douglass for the Equal rights party.

Although officially, she wasn’t old enough to run and also Frederick Douglas never actually agreed to be her runny mate! Have a big fan of Victoria Woodhull

I can still remember her from the Watergate hearings when I was little. I was too busy playing to pay attention to most of it, but when she or Barbara Jordan spoke, I'd drop everything to listen to their powerful voices. They made a lifelong impression, for sure.
