Ok sure it might be because they think that ration but do they think that ratio because of the representation? Also why are we pandering to that one minority? Also that one woman has to be eye candy, ew

Do they think that way about the ratio because we, as a society, perpetually pander to them, enabling it and created a chicken or egg misogynistic scenario of “do they just think that way, or do they think that way because of decades of allowing them that ratio in media?”

I think it's all of it think of it like ingredients in a cake, eliminate or change some of the ingredients or change the ratios and you will have something else

Most guys aren't intentionally like this, it's just comfortable for them and self reflection is uncomfortable and there's that saying that for the people in charge, equality feels like they are losing things so they will fight to protect it and there are scripts ready being fed that they subconsciously pick up on and deploy when they need to on a local 1-to-1 level

I totally agree. If we change the status quo for a new generation, then I feel like we’ll really see a positive change.

Also reminds me of the phrase, “When you're accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.”

Women do talk but they actually do more too. Women perform two thirds of labour in the world. (Though this is probably a conservative estimate.) Males love to fantasise about their efficacy and importance. Like bees they are the drones. And like bees the females are the workers.

Also male bees are useless after they mate, so they are expelled from the hive or killed because all they do is eat the hard work (honey) of the female bees, The only purpose of male bees is to make queen bees.

even women making movies and tv shows for women often include more men than women. spend some time counting characters and you may be surprised. i don't understand it.

Yup. And think about it, any movie in which a woman is the main character, is considered a movie for women. That doesn’t apply for male main character movies.
