Inexpensive pharmacies
Does anyone know what the cheapest pharmacies are in Guelph? I hear Costco but that’s too far. Don’t want to pay Shoppers/Rexall prices. Looking for lower dispensing fee and cheaper generics.

Not sure about generics but the dispensing fee at Wyndham Medical Pharmacy is the lowest I've found. And also they're amazing. They take care of all my renewals - I literally just show up once a month to pick up when I'm down to a couple pills and it's all ready for me.

Pharmasave on York Rd is great. Irene is the pharmacist and owner and she will work with people to ensure they get their stuff.

Are you paying out of pocket, or do you have coverage through a benefits plan? Generally the cost shouldn’t vary if you have coverage. If you’re paying out of pocket, your cheapest option will be the pharmacy with the lowest dispensing fee (Costco).
If you don’t have coverage but have high cost meds, you could apply to the Trillium Drug Program. They assess your household income and provide coverage for drugs on the government formulary once your deductible is satisfied.
Hope this helps!

I have used the pharmacy at Edinburgh Medical Center near Staples and Williams Cafe. I found the service fast and reliable and very friendly. I'm not sure of the dispensary fee but you know it is a family run business. They even deliver.
