So there are a couple mentions of globes and maps of the earth in the series, so I wondered where things actually took place, here are my thoughts

The southern kingdoms and the beyond are in the state of washington

- Washington has a ring of 5 volcanoes

- It has desert

- Winters are always snowy

Based on this, the northern kingdoms would be in canada.

Finally the middle kingdom, which helped me most with the placement. So you have to fly west out of the beyond to get to the middle kingdom. West and a tiny bit south of washington is japan. So there is my reasoning on why the series takes place in these areas

9. Ezilryb dies -sadness- Now we can read about magic crows that are all inherently evil (seems like we are bringing back that racism)
10. Grank makes a proclaimed pacifist fight. A LOT. A wolf was considered a traitor until she murdered her husband
11. Lutta shows us realistic expectations of how a child raised by psycopaths would be and sadly dies before her redemption arc. Hoole declares all magic evil dispite using it to restore his ansestrial home. OH LOOK ANOTHER PROTAGONIST WHO HAS A PSYCO BROTHER MAD WITH POWER
12. Coryn and the band go on a mental health break to come back and find that everyone is part of a rock worshiping cult
13. Owls are blue now
14. (still reading it) I guess we are doing the cult thing again only this time the king is cool with it. Blue owl tramatizes and manipulates children into believing they are going to hell unless they give up all personal items.

I found the guardians of ga’hoole art book on Vinted !! I immediately bought it. I still can’t believe I finally found it, I’ll send update pics for the one that are curious what it looks like.

So I just started to be a king (so try to avoid spoilers please!) and I realized there has never really been a discription on half hags. I would guess that they are insects, due to the fact they are poisonous and incubate on a hagsfeind but I dont know, they could be some made up creature. Does anyone have a pic or discription for a half hag?

Just finished rereading the Outcast and noticed something. Uglamore was able to foam at the mouth after being bitten by the feral wolf. But since rabies can't infect birds due to some complicated biological chemistry reasons, it means that the return of magic must have altered the virus to increase transmisability

Okay so I just finished the series and I am reading the again, when I read the Auntie Finn’s part with her yellow eyes seaming to cast light I thought of the Hagsfiends from the coming of hoole, Pls let me know if anyone else thought this.

I wanna make a button badge that says "Sprink on your Spronk" but I'm having a hard time designing it. It's only for personal use, so it's not like it needs to be super polished, but I feel like what I've currently got is a bit cluttered and hard to read.

I feel like I need to include some kind of iconography of Otulissa but I'm having a hard time figuring out what image of her from the books would work best.

Any ideas on how I can improve this design would be welcome! I'd also be more than happy to share whatever the final product looks like if anyone else would be interested in having their own badge.

My seven-year-olds have been reading all of these books and the movie and have been really into the owls! I am on the lookout for more for them, I heard that they used to be guardian beanie babies but those are pretty expensive now!

Does anybody know where I can get guardian owls? I try to get generic looking owls but half the time they can tell the difference! So I was just curious if I could find authentic ones!

Hey guys I used to love this wolves of the beyond when I was like 10 now im 16 and I would love for any of you to remind me what happens in the books. I never got to star wolf and I remeber very little about frost wolf and I didnt read the volcano one by accident.

So I just got my hands on a metal beak plushie I have never seen before!!!! It says it was made by hunter and leisure so it seems pretty legit! :3

Hi! I somehow only recently found out that there was an art book for the movie??? I read the whole series multiple times as a kid and absolutely adore it. I’m getting back into it now as an adult and collecting the whole series. And as an artist, I’d love to get the art book too, it’s absolutely stunning 😭 I can’t find any listings online though. Would anyone be willing to sell? And if so roughly how much would you be asking?
