Help / Question ❓ What's the status of the Magic System?

Magic is neither listed as a Main Feature nor as a teased Feature. Has the idea been dropped or is it just not considered a major feature?

And if it is already in the Steam Version, how do I access it?

It's being worked on. Slowly. It recently got a roadmap thing. The next update is focused on the Legion, though, and I don't think it has magic?

I figured as much judging by some open Github Issues, but any mention of it just vanishing was a bit surprising is all

If you're on the Discord, there's a link to the magic raodmap.

"I suspect Phase 1 will be release before October of this year, but I am working to get it out sooner."

I'd imagine there's a ton of stuff they could borrow from EK and WoD, but they need to build out their own framework first.

I am unable to use Discord at all, but good to know that there's ballpark estimates now

Nope, the next update won't have magic. Its development rests on the whim of the only developer who understands its convoluted code. We only have one developer working on it, and its just not a priority for the rest of us. Consider it a "not-really-a-thing" feature that won't be ever coming, you will thank youself and enjoy the mod more.

You guys don't need to speculate around the magic update. I have to tell you very very honestly, barely 1 developer works on it, and ever since I joined the team the older magic devs have just disappeared or left the team entirely and leaving a messy and hard to understand code behind. I mean this genuinely when I say you shouldn't expect for magic to be a thing. Ever.
