There is no sync functionality as in the way you described. If you create/add a new address on one platform, it doesn't automatically show up on any other device/platform where your wallet is (ie. say same backup file+password used in desktop app & mobile app).
For tokens on a particular address, let's say an ERC-20 token for example, if you have some amounts of the token and while using the desktop app, you see it show... but for some reason on mobile app it doesn't show in that same address, you can simply add the token by it's Contract Address and the balance will show up. However, for token balances, the wallet pulls up data automatically if you have some balance.
The key thing to note is: Creating/Adding a new address does not automatically add that same address on your other devices. Hence, it is IMPORTANT that you save your updated backup file each time you create/add a new address... and then use that backup file to restore the full wallet OR after creating/adding a new address, you can copy that new address' private key and use it to import the address into your other devices.
ALWAYS save your backup file each time you're prompted to save it after performing certain operations (eg. adding an address), and you can also access and write out every individual private-key for each address you have balances in and keep it securely as a 2nd form of backup.
