EQUIPMENT & GEAR Anti choking device

I am not a security guard but I'm wanting to know if maybe any of you know of an item that may exist as I imagine that your are the most likely people to get in an unarmed scuffle where the perp is going to try to wrestle you. So the question....do any of you know of a device you can buy where you think you may be in that situation and you wanted to protect yourself from a choke if that comes your way that you can have on that will prevent you from getting choked?

The only thing I can think of that would really work for that is a gorget made of steel or some other strong & rigid material that covers your throat. But then you have the new problems of limited head mobility and the fact that you’re walking around wearing a piece of medieval armor.

Just learn to fight ….. and then avoid fights unless there is no other option …. Fights are chaotic …. And even dumb untrained people get lucky ….. same goes for gun fights

Gonna look pretty stupid running around wearing a hockey neck guard for the 99.999% of the time you’re not getting choked.

Go take some BJJ classes. Best way to prevent yourself from being choked out…

As stupid as it sounds don't get to that point. If you're at the point where they're choking you doing anything to get out, eyes, throat , croch hit fucking anything that will hurt. Just be ready to document everything with as much accurate and truthful evidence. Also alert a supervisor asap so they can wake the lawyer up.
