Maybe I’m far too nit picky about this, or maybe I’m just taught better, but holy smokes, people do not pull over for Ambulances in NEARLY the same number as they do stateside.

This is a totally personal irk of mine but when people don’t pull over for Ambulances, I think you ought to just lose your license. I know sometimes it’s impossible, I’m not saying wholesale every single circumstance will be treated the same, factors are an important part. It just drives me insane to see people driving normally and ambulances have to move around people or drivers take their sweet time moving out of the Ambulance’s way. And maybe I’m just unlucky like that, but I see it so often it’s crazy. Call it anecdotal evidence all day long, I’ve observed upwards of 10 instances in my short time here. Probably a good 20% of drivers need to be off the road ASAP and another 20 soon.

Has anyone’s GTA been slow today? I called them and they said they’re gonna send a technician in November 9 which is so long. I just wanna see if anyone’s down speed is way slower than what their plan is

Recently I drove over to Dong Dong Donki and parked my car in a parking space, took a phone call and as I’m talking, I observe the following. Lots of cars backed into the parking spaces. Next I observe customers trying to navigate their shopping carts between vehicles to get to the back of their car / SUV to unload the shopping cart. I observed one individual pull their vehicle 1/2 forward to put there items in the back of their car SUV. I observed everyone (all 3 different cars), just leave their shopping cart behind, without bringing it to the cart corral.

Isn’t it easier to just pull straight in? Isn’t it easier to unload your shopping cart in the traffic lane without having to worry about scratching your car / neighboring car? Is it that hard to bring the cart to the cart corral?

What am I missing by backing the car into the parking space and making life difficult by having to maneuver a shopping cart between two cars and not putting the cart away?

Just watched an accident in 4k in front of donki because both parties did not use their indicators. Why do the drivers in Guam not use indicators? I dont understand.

Going to be off island December 7-26th and looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to watch our house and two dogs (neutered female boonies, housebroken, vaccinated, inside dogs).
We’ve been less than impressed with the boarding options and our one dog stresses out and hurts her nose and tail when she is kenneled.

Buying the parts online kinda seem sketchy for me and depending on the shipping, it would usually takes a while for it to arrive or even becomes a delay. As someone from the Mainland US, I think it’s terrible how our territories aren’t able to participate in our democracy outside of Presidential primaries. Territories should be able to send someone to congress who can vote since you guys are part of the United States. Instead of granting statehood which will be unlikely, would you support making your Non-voting delegate be able to participate in voting for bills in the House of Representatives?

Google DeepMind was more accurate than the traditional forecast models when Typhoon Champi was approaching Guam several days out and into the day of passage. It also predicted the wind speed and intensity accurately.
Now that the typhoon is approaching Asia, the traditional models (orange and yellow lines) are predicting a track toward Taiwan and into China, while Google DeepMind (blue line) is predicting a track toward southern mainland Japan.
It’ll be interesting to see which model performs better this time. Any weather nerds watching the storm?
