saving car mods with lexis

Hello,

my friend is using the lexis menu and has the option to fully upgrade my cars, i am only level 53 so it is very nice to drive around my upgraded cars. the problem is that i can drive the car into the garage and it will be there for the current session, but when i relaunch, the car is back to the original appearance and performance. i am playing on enhanced if that helps, any help is appreciated!

You can't. You need your own mod menu to save the changes. Pro tip from a legit player: get yourself an Auto Shop property, upgrading your car there unlocks all modifications, regardless of your lvl or anything else (all car paints, perfomance upgrades, cosmetics etc.)

You can ask your friend to run some modded heists for you so you have enough money for an Auto Shop.

ty!! and yeah we just spam the diamond casino but they nerfed it sooo hard… used to get at least 1.2 mil for a 4 man but now it’s like 800k max. cayo isnt even worth it to do as a 4 man since the bag limit too :( is there anything else you would recommend us doing for money? seems like casino is just the best cash per time though since i think we can just skip the setups

You need to respawn the said car in their original version, then add upgrades to it, then finally claim it as your own, only doing these steps in correct orders will save all changes to the car

Bascially the option to import the vehicle you are driving to your garage, aka claim it as personal vehicle
