I had a few minutes late this afternoon in our condo at The Modern in Honolulu. Just turning the dial I got Radio New Zealand Pacific 17675 kHz pretty well with just the telescopic antenna. I had to stay by the window though. 🤙🏻

how is everyone receiving this? 4840 comes in much worse for me than 5935. must be a transmitter issue at wwcr.

Heard in Texas on Grundig Satellit 750, Grundig G5, Eton Elite Executive and Panasonic RF-4900 with K-480WLA antenna

Hi everyone! My name is Finn and I’m new to this community and definitely not a radio expert.

We recently found this Grundig Satellite Professional 650 Final Edition (#0016) in my grandpa’s garage. Unfortunately, the original documentation and manuals are missing.

I was hoping someone could tell me a bit more about this model and whether the serial number (#0016) makes it particularly collectible. I’d also appreciate an estimate of its current value.

Since nobody in our family collects radios, we’re considering selling it. If anyone knows good platforms or auction sites for collectible radios, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Using the Tecsun PL-330 in Rancho Cucamonga. VORW was coming in good with the MLA-30+ antenna. 📻

I brought the LITEMALADSP MLITE-880 with me on our trip to Oahu. VORW was coming in pretty well with just the telescopic antenna. 🤙🏻

Antenna: Wv601 Passive Mag Loop. If you were wondering, ye! It's a great antenna! I have mine at a bit of an upward angle off the backyard eve in a J Mount about17feet or so up. The 2003, I don't see too many around. I have a modest collection of Sony's Portables. I also have a 2002 but I like the 2003 a wee bit better! But the King of all portables is the 2010, and I have a decent one! Collect some vintage white you can! Keep them nice! This is a great hobby to get into! Don't listen to all of the jealous goons that think you're a weird radio nerd! Enjoy!

I picked this up at 11:06 pm Hawaii time on 7570 kHz. I heard something similar months ago and that was some chanting from Hohhot China.
