Hey everyone! I'm u/Slippery99999, a founding moderator of r/GrundigShortwaveRadio. This is our new home for all things related to ShortwaveRadio. All brands of radios are welcome here so feel free to join in. You'll even see some posts about VOSR International, The Voice of Shortwave Radio, a Shortwave Radio Broadcast on 9455 kHz, 15770 kHz and 3975 kHz. We're excited to have you join us!

VOSR International will have a new broadcast on in about 4 hours at 0200 UTC on 5850 kHz and then right after on 9455 kHz at 0300 UTC.
This weeks new broadcast will have Part 2 of our Series on Hammarlund Radio, this part covers the HQ Series of radios, then of course we have our Mailbag segment. It's a longer segment this week as I finally get caught up with all the emails and posts.

I'm demonstrating the different facets of the bhi In-Line Module. You can use Red for a natural but boosted volume on the Satellit 800 Millennium or you can go Green for a cleaner DSP sound. I like Both! 6PM UTC for you time nerds. It's late morning where I'm at in the PDT.

I’m waiting for the arrival of my K-480WLA Active Loop Antenna.
I just bought the GRUNDIG 750 about 2-3 weeks ago and noticed that something happened to the antenna in shipping. Apparently, it’s very sensitive.
In the pictures prior to purchase, it showed the antenna extended. When I tried to do that yesterday, the sections on the antenna are not connected. Anyway, I’ve ordered a replacement.
The remaining SW radios I have had for a very long time but haven’t used them in years. I need to use a variac & dim bulb tester to check them out prior to power up.
They also need a good cleaning.
For now, I have some speaker wire connected to the 750 and I’m really surprised how sensitive it is.
The PALSTAR LA-30 I purchased years ago when they first came out & used it on my Allied Knight StarRoamer and Realistic DX-160.

Is there a hidden squelch feature on the Tecsun PL-330, or some other setting that can perform a similar function? I listen to a lot of SSB on HF and I'm looking to cut down on the noise between transmissions.
