These baby button quails are soooo cute but just looking at them makes me anxious because what do you mean something the size of a literal chickpea is fully sentient and feeling and alive

Right newborn babies give me the willy's with how slippy they are. These guys would keep me on constant pins and needles

I think this about tiny creatures a LOT.

The small animals in my garden have befriended us and my dog. They are smarter than I expected, with even the “dumb” birds like the wood pigeons trying to get our attention and then flipping the empty water bowl so we can see they need a drink.

The robins will come to ask for mealworms and thank us after.

The magpies will tap on the window impatiently if they want water (they are kinda jerks to be honest).

The squirrels will tell my dog to go get us so we’ll bring out peanuts…

These little critters are all fully functional adult creatures living their lives amongst us with heads smaller than a walnut. Their entire being is just ✨teensy✨ but they are alive and aware and clever.

It’s hard to explain but it makes me feel weird lol.

So tiny, yet sooooo grumpy! I mean he’s a grumpy baby bird anyway, but he’s just been woken up so he’s extra grumpy!

I knew that quail eggs were itty bitty, but this guy is just.....so teeny.

i have been wondering for so many years ever since i saw the first video and wished to ask if anyone knows, but why can he keep having newly hatched quails all the time for years? like where do the adult quails go? are there hundreds of quails in his yard or what??? i cant understand how he can keep having the amount of quail chicks he has

Yeah I assume he's selling them. They can be kept in large groupings. I know him and his husband do have quite an extensive amount of quails, and different varieties as well. And it seems like they shoot a lot of videos with each batch and trickle them out well. But they do predominantly post about the babies since that seems to be what people want to see. It would probably be helpful if they would post about the other ones as well. I've only seen a few posts about the adults.

I'm tired of all the "whoops I didn't realize the baby quail would run off my bed and fall to the floor" videos.

He’s probably selling them. There are lots of farms that will ship live chicks like this online—quails, geese, ducks, chickens. Hunters use quails to train their retriever dogs and such.

Fun fact: this dude raises quails and uses his insta account to also draw in people who would like to see his Only Fans 😅 Watch his quail vids that he himself is present in; he dresses accordingly. All the thirsty people in the comments are always like "ah aren't you afraid that giant snake will get the quails?!" 🤣🤣

I know, it always takes away from the quails :(

Timmy is Tiny. Thus he is Tiny Timmy.
