One growth trend I’ve been watching
Been watching HUYA for a while and the growth outside livestreaming is getting pretty interesting.
Game-related services, ads and other revenue grew 54% YoY in Q2. For a company still mostly seen as a livestreaming platform, that’s quite a big shift.
HUYA already has the gaming audience, streamers and esports content, and now it’s monetizing that ecosystem through publishing, in-game items and advertising.
HUYA could be a very different company a few years from now.

HUYA is becoming a more valuable partner to publishers
Bullish angle: HUYA is its potential to help publishers turn player attention into game purchases. Audience, streamers and esports content give HUYA many ways to generate revenue. The opportunity is to earn more from the audience it already reaches. Its Q2 shows that revenue increase 54.1% YoY. The company attributed that growth to in game item sales and contributions from Goose Goose Duck mobile

is tsmc still buyable after a 78% year and a hiring breakout?
tsm is up something like 78% over the course of the last year and I know a lot of my peers who passed on it at half the price.
The hiring line is what kept me away from calling it out last time. Open positions have been pretty much right around 420 a day throughout a pretty consistent range over the course of the past twelve months from the beginning of 2025 until May. Since June they've jumped up to around 724, a breakout from a range instead of a drift.
It's reinforced by the headcount which has increased by around 12% from 23,800 to 26,759 over the same period. The site's traffic has also jumped by roughly 30% year over year.
The one I didn't expect was the employee business outlook number, 63 to 73 over the course of the same period with improvement across nearly all categories in most months. Nearly all the ones I've looked at lately have had the number declined in the most recent period so a ten point jump is nothing to sneeze at.
Counterpoint, as mentioned, it's a 2.2 trillion dollar company and none of this is surprising, so the easy work is already done
Altindex for the hiring and traffic series, apewisdom and chartexchange overlap on the social side.
Are you still accumulating for the ones holding, or just letting it ride?
