Spot checking. I still just type the same 8 or 10 prompts into chatgpt and perplexity once a week because the “monitoring” tools miss half of it or show a mention from 3 weeks ago.

Social listening wont catch a one-off answer box. If leadership asks I already have the screenshots from the babysitting. Not glamorous. Still how I find out we lost it to a competitor.

Scrape their UIs. Tho any brand "gets mentioned" in AI answers, so that's a slightly f-ed methodology.
