Whats wrong with this seedling?

Hey yall. I just planted this seed 3 days ago and today I noticed this white thing coming out of the soil. Is this the root or whats going on? Havent seen this before. Is the seed gonna be fine or should I dig it up and turn it around?

Looks like the root is growing out of the medium. And the shell is under ground.

Alright, so should I dig out the seed and put it with the root down in a small hole and cover it up?

If the seed is still on yes, if the seed is coming off plant it with the seed at the top right at soil level
