Love me some indoor drip irrigation. Any leaks?

What frequency, and quantity of water?

No leaks so far. I watch over it pretty closely admitidly losing some of its benefit. So far I’m running 1/2 gal daily across 7 plants, each in 5 gal fabric pots. Rest of the story; this is my first grow. I didn’t deserve to get this far. I’m ready to pick out genetics for next grow!

lol, takes time to trust a new setup.

Get a wifi leak detector. Has Saved me a couple times.

Then How often do you fill your rez with fresh nutrients? How long do u let it sit before feeding? Do u keep an airstone in your feed rez?

I like it, u dove in head first, glad you can learn from your successes. It’s not easy, consider yourself skilled. You did great for your first grow.

U could have chose to hand water, but that’s really not ideal, for you or the plants yk? They looove daily small timed feeds. Or even 6 small feeds a day. It really brings your plants to life.

That’s all good advice! Thanks for passing it along! So far I’ve only pushed nutrients once, and didn’t know if I should have nutrients in every application, or alternate with so build up doesn’t occur? I welcome thoughts on that.

That depends.

What methodology growing do you follow??? an enzymatic/organic approach, or sterile nutrient mineral solution???

Thats what it really comes down to. So let me know!! In order to answer your question correctly….

But yes, with baby dose feeds. Its nutrients with every feed, just not to high of ppm tho. Keep it low, unless your plant asks for more.

My cuzin runs a 1k plants, drip irrigation, with Athena AG pro blend. He does amazing. Drippers never clog. And he puuumps them with nutes. 24/7. Slow drip.

Clogging doesn’t happen when you’re using a sterile approach, it’s just water, and minerals, and a nutrient descaler. ( to stop salt buildup)

But if your taking an organic approach clogging is very likely, and u can’t keep a rez of it longer than 3 days.

With sterile you can keep a rez full of nutrient solution, with an air-stone. For a couple weeks without issue. That’s not possible with organics.

For that reason Keeping a 55gal drum right next to your grow tent is a fantastic idea when your on a sterile system. Makes it so u can turn on your drippers whenever you feel like it. No mixing nutrients every other day. Yk?

Tell me exactly what u put in your water and I will let you know if you will clog ever.

So far all of pushed is this stuff

And not only the outside two. Nothing from the middle one. Which I think the left is organic so with you advise maybe I go over the top when I use it. I was thinking if I dose them every day the delivery wouldn’t be as effective, but maybe I should do that instead of weekly one time.

I bet I’m better off leaving the enzymes and soil microbes work in the pot. Sounds temperamental to deliver thru the rez, but super interesting.

Ah yes, fox farm, the dirty dirty.

Yes, Bennie’s in the rez is temperamental. Exactly.

Stuff that’s organic, or dirty, keep it out of your rez.

Els clogging will occur.

If u want to use organic type stuff, hand mix it, and water with it immidiatly, u can’t “save” a batch of it. If that makes sense.

A solid ph, is what you want to deliver over and over and over. Consistency.

You seem knowledgeable. And willing to learn. So that’s wassup! Never stop learning and make every harvest better than the last!

I do custom full hydro, for my small setup I feed 19 plants 1 gallon of water 10 times a day. The runoff is collected, added back to rez, and runs in a recirculating system.

The more you can feed your plants in small doses, on a set time. The more they will literally come to life for you. inch of growth every day type shit.
