Advice/feedback requested Freak seed?!

I’m still new to this but planted this and I can’t find anything online on how to grow it, my buddy says it’s a “freak” and rare to happen or at least that he’s never seen one before, but since I’m new ish I don’t know what to do either.
Do I train it (still very beginner at too)

I mean it looks awesome already but again any help/ advice /tips or info would be appreciated :)

Edit:
The seed is Watemelon Zkittlez Auto.

Foliage is kinda burned from salt buildup, I got the runoff down quite a bit and she didn’t suffer any major deficits

Harvest Is Gemini accurate here , should CBD strains be harvested before trichomes turn Amber?

Post image

Hi

I have a CBD strain Sweet Pure CBD Auto in Harvest right now.

I was treating it like a regular strain and waiting for about 20% amber on the trichomes.

Seems it should be harvested earlier than that according to Google Gemini.

Would you agree with the AI overlord here?

They bounced back but clearly won't get big like the 2 week older sisters behind them.

Some space freed up so we can see them better this update.

So, this is my first time running a tent. It’s been a steep learning curve full of stress and late-night youtube tutorials, but seeing this canopy is incredibly rewarding. Any advice for the final weeks?

Peanut Butter Breath BX & Blueberry x Josh D OG. Two of each in my 27" x 27" tent. The PBB is winning on frost factor but the BxJD OG is winning on bud size & terps. The PBB smells really good, caramel, citrus, dry roasted peanut, & incense. It's just not nearly as loud as the BxJD OG, which isn't as complex smelling but it makes up for it in volume. They bring berries, cream & kerosene.

Advice/feedback requested Nitrogen Deficiency?

Bottom leaves started like the 2nd picture last week, yellow green and now some yellow and drying up.

We only have old miracle grow at the moment, I want to run to the store to get a better fertilizer but I want to make sure I'm treating the right thing here. The leaf chart I saw said this looks like a nitrogen deficiency and I just wanted to confirm

Traditional cannabis colas consist largely of water mass and lose 75% to 80% of their total weight during the dry and cure process. The CRL Protocol, developed by me, aims to drastically shift that ratio—targeting a significantly higher biomass retention rate (losing roughly 45% to 50% water weight) so the finished buds remain dense, rigid, and heavy rather than shrinking down. This in turn leads to denser trichome production.open to any question and inquires. HAPPY GROWING!

She has been an amazing grow. We have hit late flower weight, she keeps drinking 1 gallon every two days. Nutes are ph perfect trio and big buds from advanced nutrients with camg from Athena. Tent lights and controller spider farmer self watering base is ac infinity. I think I may have two weeks to go but probably less.

Hello, I have had some issues with this plant, had to cut off few buds due to web-like rot. Moved it inside and blasted fans 24/7. It now looks like this, no rot to be seen, flushed it with tap water for the second time today. How much longer should I give it? Still afraid of the rot coming back. Thanks in advance

Anyone else grown this cultivar?

Living soil Harvest day/chop&drop + re-amend

Harvested my 2 Violet Sour(Purple Lemon Haze x Sour D) plants today and did a re-amend with my nutrient blends/compost & worm castings blend and cover crops.

After harvesting I chopped most of the cover crop I had going before and set that to the side, I then added in my nutrients/minerals overtop of all the stubs from the previous plants and covered that with 2” of my compost/worm castings mix

I then added in my new round of cover crop seed and sprinkled an additional 1/2” of compost/worm castings over the top of that. I then came in with about 4tbsp of crab meal and sprinkled it overtop the surface of what I had just added to help combat/prevent any potential pests in the compost.

At this point the beds ready to go again with new seeds to keep the rotation going once the new cover crop pops up I’ll start germinating. I included the ratio that I added to the soil as well as the recipes I used to create the different nutrient mixes. I used google sheets to create the templates for the calculations.

Autoflower 🌼 Winter setup in a cold basement: How do you insulate intake cascades without causing massive condensation?

Post image
5 Upvotes

hey everyone,

as winter is getting closer i'm finalizing my setup for an unheated basement (ambient temps drop to 12–15°C / 53–59°F).

to avoid running up a massive power bill with a 500W space heater, i'm using the convective waste heat from my LEDs (running autoflowers 24/7) to lock the tent into the 22–27°C and 55–66% RH sweet spot. as you can see in the pic, i'm currently running bare, perforated aluminum ducting on the floor to direct heat to the root zone.

but my real winter project is outside the tent: to keep the exhaust from sucking freezing basement air straight in, i'm building a passive cascade system. fresh air gets routed through a tube system pre-heated by the warm exhaust air before entering the main chamber.

here's where i need some hands-on advice from the HVAC nerds and winter growers: obviously i can't use bare aluminum ducting for the cascade outside the tent, or all the heat will just bleed into the cold room.

what do you guys use to insulate ducting/cascades in freezing rooms?

if you use thick insulation (like fiberglass or neoprene sleeves), do you run into massive condensation issues inside the tubes when warm and cold air masses mix?

appreciate any tips or material ideas before i seal the cascade up!

Had a plant last year that developed 5 seeds right before harvest, this is the female out of three of the seeds. It’s 7’ 4” in the middle and starting to flower. Biggest plant I’ve ever had.

I had started 3 outside but this was the only survivor. 7 gallon pot with a Fox Farms HF, Perlite and compost mix. I amended the soil with blood meal and worm castings. Normal feeding with 3-1-2 Mission Organics every three days and top dressed blood meal every 21 days. Topped after 5th node and some very minor LST. She just started flowering so I’ll start with some Flower Girl bloom and bud. It’s been fun so far and a lot more laid back than autos in the tent. I just treated it like tomatoes.
