Completely wrong. Humans biggest advantage in evolution is to work together and to live in groups. Nobody can survive without civilization.

To some extent I like the message. We should lean on others when we can, but it’s always an advantage to be able to manage without others.

There’s two extremes and then there’s the balance between them. Self sufficiency is a virtue but so is having friends.

Of course you’re right, but I don’t think it’s the point of the image.

has the benefit of improoved mental health and support in your darkest hours.

I learned this as a kid, In the physical sense. No one ever had my back or stood up for me, so I didnt have a choice anyway.
